Shadow and Sonic have known each other for a long time and have become friends, but Shadow worries about Sonic and tries to protect him when necessary.

Shadow, Sonic, Rouge, and Knuckles were in a clearing, chatting. Until suddenly, a portal opened behind Sonic, and he fell into it. Shadow, Rouge, and Knuckles also somehow ended up in the same portal, but in a different place in this world.
