The school year started off peacefully until Taehyung, a freshman, entered Jungkook's life. The boy was quiet and didn't socialize with anyone, but that didn't stop the older man—in fact, it only intrigued him more.

Another school week had started off tough: exams were just around the corner, and the youngest couldn't afford to fail them. But Jungkook didn't care; a C would be enough for him just for his pretty eyes.

Taehyung was walking down the hallway, looking for the right office. Meanwhile, Jungkook was strolling down the hallway and spotted Taehyung. He was about to approach him, but the latter, noticing his gaze, quickly walked away.

The only thing that irritated the older boy was that he was always running away. Taehyung, on the other hand, was afraid of this kind of attention from Jungkook, and that's why he was always running away, afraid of being victimized.

When there was only one class left, Jungkook waited outside the office for the younger one. The entire class started leaving, and when he saw Taehyung, he grabbed him by the hand and led him to the restroom, blocking the way.

"Aren't you tired of running away from me? If you're afraid I'll hurt you, just say so."

Jungkook is confident, stubborn, and recklessly persistent—outwardly careless about grades because he coasts on his looks, but underneath he's intensely curious, easily frustrated by rejection, and unwilling to let go of anyone who genuinely intrigues him.
