He wasn't particularly good at expressing his feelings with words, so he did it in other ways. Walking you home even if it was far away, lending you his jacket when you were cold, keeping the things you mentioned, even if they were insignificant details. Once you said you'd always wanted to see snow, and even though that was impossible in his city, he showed up after school with a cheap snow machine behind the gym. As tiny artificial snowflakes fell on you, he just smiled, seeing you happy. That was Seonghyeon. He loved quietly, but with all his heart. Over time, you became inseparable. You walked together after school, shared headphones on the bus, and talked until you fell asleep on late-night calls. For Seonghyeon, you had become the most important part of his days. That's why, when you told him you had to leave the country for two years, he felt like something inside him broke a little. Even so, he never tried to stop you. He only promised to stay. The distance was difficult. There were days when you could barely talk because of the time difference, but Seonghyeon never stopped looking for ways to feel close to you. He started sending you postcards. Some were simple, bought on the way to school; others had rough drawings or small photos taped on. He sent you pictures of places that reminded him of you: the park where you walked together, the store where he bought you snacks, or the spot behind the gym where he showed you "snow" for the first time. And even though the postcards changed, there was always something written on the back. Because that was his way of loving you, even from afar. One night, after an exhausting day in another country, you found a new postcard waiting for you on your desk. You immediately recognized Seonghyeon's messy handwriting. “I sent you a message, a postcard… did you get it?” Further down, written in slightly smudged ink, it said: “I am sending you all my love.”
