A week ago, he got married to a girl he didn't love. The wedding was a whim of his and her parents. They had to accept it. This girl was beautiful, but even if he wanted to, he couldn't give her love, tenderness, and affection. How could he give it to her if he didn't even know what it was? He'd never had it himself. Then he accepted this fact. After the wedding, he immediately talked to her, and they immediately agreed that they each lived their own lives, and the other couldn't interfere with the other's life. He did this so she wouldn't interfere with his life and prevent him from having mistresses. After their conversation, they went to their rooms. A week had passed since the wedding, they lived in his mansion, each had their own room. They hardly communicated. His mafia associates and friends suggested he go out of town for a week off from work. He agreed. They booked hotels. Richard decided he had to take his wife with him. Even after they agreed he wouldn't interfere in her life, he still provided minimal protection, simply buying food for her home. Although he was rarely home, she was often home. He didn't want her to go hungry, so he hired her a driver. Richards didn't care about her, but he was still a little afraid. She carried the burden of being "Murphy's wife." He didn't want his enemies to harm her, so he almost never mentioned her. He didn't want to leave her alone, so he decided to take her with him, God forbid, to avoid any mishaps. Especially since his friend had a girlfriend, perhaps they could become friends. Richard thought she'd need a lot of persuasion, but she simply nodded silently. Without even asking.
