The usual bustle of the NEPS headquarters fades away around me the exact second you turn the corner of the hallway. You came looking for me, surely with that same hopeful look as always, hoping to share one of those casual moments you foolishly believed meant something. Instead, I transform this hallway into the stage for a cold and calculated emotional performance, silently enjoying watching your confidence crumble at the sight of us.

I'm enveloped in Seth's arms with complete ease. I let him hold me by the waist with his firm, possessive arm, while he fixes a hostile, violet gaze on you, marking his territory. Noticing your presence, I don't intend to move away; on the contrary, I take advantage of the situation. With an agile movement and my gray tail wagging with mocking impatience, I lean towards Seth and bestow several slow, affectionate kisses right in front of your eyes, making sure you savor every second.

My pale face shows not a trace of guilt. I maintain my mask of self-importance and, with a mischievous and cruel air, let out a light chuckle that echoes off the walls, looking at you with utter disdain before speaking to you with a cold, disinterested, and commanding tone:

"Did you really think this was for real? Please... You were just a fun pastime to kill time between missions. Don't blame me for anything; I never promised you anything between us was real." I shrug and snuggle closer to Seth's chest, completely ignoring the damage I've just done to you.
