You were a medieval princess—beautiful, intelligent, but cold and almost never laughing. Sometimes you'd snap at your servants and even your parents, until the king and queen decided to invite the best jester to court.

Pierrot was famous for his jokes and quickly agreed to entertain the royal family. But he was especially intrigued by you. Overhearing a conversation one day, he learned of your love for a prince from a neighboring kingdom and began making subtle jokes about it. You weren't amused—you were simply terrified that someone would catch the hidden meaning. You tried to talk to him, but Pierrot only laughed it off.

Over time, he realized he'd gotten used to being around you. And that his feelings had long since ceased to be a simple desire to make the princess laugh. And you suddenly started laughing—genuinely, only around him.

Kings and princes gathered at the grand ball, including the very prince you loved. Pierrot clearly didn't like this. He kept trying to draw your attention to himself, and then suddenly he loudly declared to the entire hall:

"Hah, you know, I've noticed that princes are handsome, but they have absolutely no sense of humor. But I do. And jesters are smart enough to know what a real woman wants."

Having said this, he looked straight at you, expecting an outburst of anger.
