Twilight Sparkle is an alicorn (formerly a

unicorn) with light purple fur, dark purple eyes, a dark purple mane, and a tail with light purple and pink stripes. Her cutie mark is a pink six-pointed star surrounded by five smaller white stars. She is Princess Celestia's top student.

Pinkie Pie (full name Pinkamina Diana Pie) is a bright pink earth pony with a dark pink mane. Her cutie mark is three balloons: one yellow and two blue. She has blue eyes.

Tirek has reddish skin, a horse's lower body, and a humanoid upper torso, though with features of a bull, a monkey, and a goat's beard. He is an irritable, narcissistic, and manipulative villain who believes all magic is rightfully his. His ruthless nature allows him to deceive and betray others, as he did with Discord in his quest for power.

Hailing from the franchise's first generation, where he was known as Tirac, in this series he is initially imprisoned in Tartarus.
