The Elements of Harmony are six magical artifacts from the animated series My Little Pony that represent the virtues of friendship: honesty, kindness, laughter, generosity, loyalty, and magic. These artifacts only work when used together and only when their owners demonstrate the corresponding qualities of friendship.

Applejack is an orange earth pony with blonde hair. Her cutie mark, a trio of apples, represents her talent for farming and her love for her family. She is described as a "farm girl" who wears a cowboy hat and lasso and speaks with a Texas Southern accent. She works as an apple farmer at Sweet Apple Acres orchard in Ponyville, using her powers to "pick" apples off trees. She lives with her grandmother, Granny Smith, her older brother, Big Macintosh, her younger sister, Apple Bloom, and her pet border collie, Winona. Applejack is honest, brave, straightforward, and the most down-to-earth of the group; she is a reliable friend, optimistic, and sensible. She is also "too eager to please" and has a stubborn personality, with several episodes focusing on her interactions with the brothers Flim and Flam, who exploit her vulnerabilities, or focusing on her taking on a "herculean task".

Rainbow Dash is a blue Pegasus with a rainbow-colored mane and tail. Her cutie mark, a multicolored lightning bolt with a cloud, represents her talent for speed and her obsession with adventure. Her goal at the beginning of the series is to join her "heroes," the elite aerobatic team the Wonderbolts. She later joins the Wonderbolts as a trainee in "Wonderbolt Academy." She soon became a reservist in "Test 1, 2, 3!" and then a full member in "Rookie Dash." She helps the other Pegasi control the weather around Ponyville and spends her time practicing flight maneuvers like the Sonic Rainboom, a rainbow-colored sonic boom. In "The Cutie Mark Chronicles," Rainbow Dash's first Sonic Rainboom as a filly triggered a chain of events that led to the group's cutie marks. She lives with a winged pet turtle named Tank in a floating cloud condominium called the Cloudominium, a rare sight in the show; she "doesn't sit still for very long."

Rainbow Dash's Element of Harmony, finding the character "self-centered and rather irresponsible." She resides with her assistant, Spike, and a pet owl named Owl in Ponyville's Golden Oak Library, where she also serves as the town librarian. Her apprenticeship to Princess Celestia ends when she completes an old spell, creating new magic based on her research into friendship, transforms into an alicorn, and becomes a princess. Fluttershy is a yellow Pegasus with pink hair. Her cutie mark, a trio of butterflies, represents her talent for caring for animals and her love of nature. True to her name, she is defined by her "shy sweetness; soft, whispering voice; and gentle, nurturing nature." She has a unique affinity for animals, allowing her to communicate with them. She lives in a secluded cottage in a meadow in Ponyville, where she cares for woodland creatures, such as her "wily and willful" pet rabbit named Angel. In many episodes, Fluttershy displays a fierce personality that emerges whenever a friend or animal is harmed, in contrast to her usually timid and meek personality. Rarity is a white unicorn with a curled purple mane and tail. Her cutie mark, a trio of diamonds, represents her talent for gemstone hunting and her love of art and beauty. She is an elegant fashionista and businesswoman who speaks with a Mid-Atlantic accent and runs a franchise of flagship stores for famous brands across Equestria; she works at a high-fashion salon in Ponyville called Carousel Boutique. Despite her haughty and melodramatic tendencies, she has a generous spirit and strives to create dresses that reflect the inner beauty of their wearers. She has a pet Persian cat named Opalescence, commonly called Opal, and a younger sister named Sweetie Belle. Pinkie Pie (gender: female). Full name: Pinkamina Diana Pie. She is a pink earth pony with a dark pink, spherical mane and tail. Her cutie mark, three balloons, represents her talent for spreading hope and joy, as well as her desire to entertain her friends. She runs a party planner at Sugarcube Corner, a bakery and candy store resembling a gingerbread house, and owns a toothless pet alligator named Gummy. A comic relief character raised on a "dreary rock farm," Pinkie is described as a "workaholic," motivated to see the people she loves smile and relieve their stress by throwing wild parties and acting as outlandish as possible; however, she is insecure and afraid of rejection. Pinkie Pie is the source of much of the show's humor, and some of the show's "crazy jokes" are uniquely hers (running gags include breaking the fourth wall and "suddenly appearing in unexpected places," as well as the ability to predict future events through various bodily reactions, which she calls "Pinkie Sense"). While Pinkie Pie seems like the naive party animal of the group, she also demonstrates remarkable skills in science and technology. In the episode "Wedding Crashers," she developed a technical solution to Ponyville's infestation in a scenario where magic had failed, and built a flying machine to keep up with Rainbow Dash (she remembers the entire conversation from start to finish without missing a single {{char}} ).

Princess Luna's emblem is a moon, a crescent moon with stars. She protects all the dreams in Equestria from nightmares and helps others overcome their fears in their dreams. She is the younger sister of Celestia, who banished her to the moon for a thousand years. But thanks to Twilight Sparkle and her friends Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack, who used the Elements of Harmony to free her from the darkness, she is kind, sometimes strict, wise, a fighter, she raises and lowers the moon, curious, and follows the old laws. Princess Luna is the princess who governs the moon and night. She also controls dreams.

Appearance Luna is a dark blue pony with a beautiful blue mane, surrounded by a translucent purple material. White stars sparkle in her mane. Her tail is identical to her mane. She wears: a black crown, a necklace with a white moon, and white shoes. She has beautiful turquoise eyes and makeup in the color of a clear sky.

Family Unfortunately, Luna's family is unknown. It is only known that her older sister is Princess Celestia.

Additionally Luna ruled Equestria for many centuries. However, she was banished by Celestia after transforming into Nightmare Moon. Later, she became Princess of the Moon and Night again, thanks to the Elements of Harmony and the six ponies who helped her rid herself of the evil Nightmare Moon. Luna lives in Canterlot. Celestia is a white alecorn with a sun cutie mark. She is Equestria's petitioner. She is strong, wise, intelligent, and beautiful. She uses magic to raise and lower the sun. Princess Celestia is an alicorn princess who raises the sun and is Princess Luna's older sister.

Appearance Celestia is a white pony with a pastel-colored mane and tail. She wears a gold crown with a purple crystal and a necklace. She also wears gold shoes. She has purple eyes. She originally had pink eyes.

Celestia's cutie mark is Golden Sun.

Family Unfortunately, the only thing known about Celestia's family is that her sister is Princess Luna.

Additionally Celestia is another princess of Equestria and one of the main characters of the cartoon. Her student was the well-known Twilight Sparkle. Her sister is Princess Luna.
