Zebrica

Geography and Landscapes

It is one of the largest continents

  • Savannas and grasslands: Like the Marengeti, where herds of nomadic zebras live.
  • Deserts: Arid zones in the center and west.
  • Tropical jungles: In the east, with dense vegetation and rich fauna.
  • Snowy mountains: In the south, home of the yeti.
  • Great Lakes: In the north, which have been the scene of conflicts after the departure of the Storm King.

Species and Cultures

  • Zebras: They are the most numerous species and have different groups:

  • Mountain zebras: Smaller, without stripes on the belly (like Zecora in some headcanons)

  • Plains zebras: Larger, with developed societies that combine tradition and technology. Some notable countries include Egypt, an ancient nation with large cities

Their culture values ancestral wisdom, alchemy, and the connection with nature. In some packs, rituals are performed using ceremonial clay paintings.

  • Kirin (no idea if they go here): They inhabit the east of the continent, with their own traditions and communities.

  • Hyenas: They inhabit areas of the south and west, with complex social structures.

Land of the Dragons

Land of the Dragons

  • Location: It is located on an island southeast of Equestria and is a volcanic region

  • Geographical characteristics: an arid territory with plateaus and volcanic mountains, rich in gems that are the main source of food for dragons

  • History and society: Ruled by a Dragon Lord chosen through physical trials. Torch was the Dragon Lord until his retirement, and Ember won the position, establishing more peaceful relations with Equestria.

  • Species: Dragons are powerful creatures with the ability to breathe fire and fly. They value strength and gems, and have their own culture and traditions.

Lands of the Changelings

Lands of the Changelings

  • Location: in the Badlands, an area within the borders of Equestria, although on the edge

The main palace is made of special stone and its interior is constantly changing shape.

After his defeat, Thorax became the new king, and the changelings learned to receive love in a positive way through friendship. Now they celebrate their own holidays, such as their version of Winter Solstice.

  • Species: Changelings were insectoid creatures with the ability to shapeshift. They have a social structure that was once based on obedience to the queen, but is now more collaborative, and although they can no longer shapeshift, they can still fly and use magic like pegasi and unicorns.

History of the World of My Little Pony *

Before the start of* Friendship is Magic *

##* The Primordial Era — Before Equestria *

Before Equestria existed as a kingdom, the world was dominated by* chaotic and *disharmonious natural forces.

  • Magic existed wild *, without control or balance.

  • The main races — Earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns — existed, but they lived separately *.

  • Each tribe relied on its own magic:

  • *Pegasi: control of the weather. Unicorns: direct magical manipulation. Earth Ponies: physical strength and connection to the earth. Without cooperation, the world was on the verge of collapse: The pegasi held back the clouds and caused famines. Unicorns controlled the sun and moon inefficiently. Earth ponies suffered endless winters.

⚔️ The Era of Tribal Hatred *

The three tribes entered into open conflict.

  • Mutual distrust fueled the war. Creatures that fed on hatred and fear appeared, like the windigos . The eternal cold threatened to destroy all life.

  • Smart Cookie *(earth ponies)
  • Private Pansy *(pegasi)

Chronicles of Equestria *

###* Book of World Events *

##* Chapter I — Of the Time of Cold and Discord *

Before Equestria had a name, the world was divided. The ponies did not live as one, but as separate tribes: those who walked the land, those who ruled the skies, and those who shaped magic. Each guarded their gift with suspicion and mistrust.

From that division, eternal winter was born. Creatures made of hatred and fear, called windigos, descended upon the world, freezing fields, skies, and hearts. Life was nearly extinguished.

It was then that cooperation arose out of necessity. The tribes ceased fighting and joined forces. The cold subsided, the windigos vanished, and in that act of unity,* Equestria was founded . ## Chapter II — Of the Ancient Heroes In the early centuries of Equestria, the world was still young and dangerous. Ancient beasts, forgotten spells, and primal forces threatened the stability of the kingdom. Then arose the great protectors: heroes who sought not glory, but balance. Rather than destroying absolute evil, they sealed it away , understanding that some forces could not be eliminated without destroying the world itself. Thus were buried threats that would slumber for generations. ## Chapter III — Of Dawn and Night Two alicorn sisters rose as guardians of the world. One took the Sun; The other, the Moon. Together they maintained the cycle of day and night, and with it, the order of the world. But the balance did not last forever. Night was feared, and its guardian forgotten. Resentment grew until it consumed her, and the Moon transformed into Nightmare Moon, determined to impose eternal night. The battle was brief and tragic. The Sun's sister, unable to destroy the one she loved, used an ancient power to seal her within the Moon for a thousand years. Since then, Equestria has known peace… and loneliness .

Chapter IV — Of the Silent Millennium *

For a thousand years, the kingdom prospered under a single rule. Cities rose, alliances were forged, and history seemed to stabilize.

But beneath the surface, prophecies awaited their moment. The return of Night was written, and when the cycle was complete, Nightmare Moon returned to the world.

She was not destroyed. She was restored.

Night returned to balance, and the sisters ruled together once more.

##* Chapter V — Of the Days of Chaos *

Restoration did not bring an end to threats. An ancient spirit of chaos escaped its prison and twisted reality itself. Order was broken and harmony tested. Chaos was contained, but not eradicated. Equestria learned that even disorder could be contained, but never completely eliminated. ##* Chapter VI — Of the Returned Kingdom A kingdom lost in time reappeared: the Crystal Empire. With it returned an ancient tyrant, determined to reclaim what he had lost. The kingdom was freed after a struggle against time, and its people regained their place in the world. History proved that the past never stays buried. ## Chapter VII — Of the Ascent An ancient spell, left incomplete by sages of the past, was finally finished. The act not only restored the lost balance, but created something new A new princess emerged, not by lineage, but by merit. Friendship became a force recognized by the world itself. ## Chapter VIII — Of the Tree and the War

In the heart of the earth was born the Tree of Harmony, a source of ancient relics. When his power was threatened, war broke out.

A conqueror stole the magic from all of Equestria, leaving the world defenseless. The battle was open, devastating, and unprecedented.

Victory came, but not without a cost. The balance shifted, and with it a new era was born.

More history about the world of MLP 3

Chapter IX — Of the Ways of the World *

Conflicts were no longer confined to Equestria. Extreme ideologies arose, neighboring kingdoms were affected, and old mistakes returned to be corrected.

Friendship ceased to be merely an internal value and became a matter of* global politics *.

##* Chapter X — Of School and Unity

To preserve what had been learned, an institution was founded where not only ponies, but all breeds, would learn to live together.

Not everyone accepted the change. Some saw it as a weakness.

From that opposition was born the greatest known threat: an alliance of former enemies that sought to destroy the world from its foundations.

More about the world of MLP where the story takes place

THE WORLD OF EQUESTRIA

Equestria is a vast, diverse, and ancient world, inhabited primarily by intelligent equine creatures, but also by other species that coexist—sometimes harmoniously, sometimes with conflict—within a delicate social, magical, and natural balance. It is a world where magic is not an abstract resource, but a structural force that sustains the climate, agriculture, politics, and even collective emotions.

Geography and regions

Equestria is made up of multiple regions with markedly distinct identities:

Agricultural valleys where the land is fertile and physical labor is the basis of the economy.

Elevated cities built on or among clouds, inhabited by those who dominate the air.

Political and cultural centers of monumental architecture, where history and tradition weigh as much as the law.

Wild forests that do not follow the common natural rules, where magic is chaotic and dangerous.

Border territories with other species, where diplomatic agreements are fragile.

Each region reflects a distinct relationship with magic: controlled, cooperative, wild, or repressed.

More about the MLP world where story 2 takes place

The main races and their social role

Society is organized, unofficially but clearly, into three large groups, each with innate abilities that shape its historical role:

  • Earth ponies

They maintain agriculture, construction, and material stability.

They possess a physical connection with the ground that gives them strength, resilience, and an intuitive relationship with nature.

Culturally, they value hard work, honesty, and tradition.

Historically they have resented the dependence on outside magic for climatic or celestial tasks.

  • Pegasi

They control the climate, rainfall, and atmospheric cycles.

They live in suspended structures, physically separated from the ground.

They value speed, discipline, and merit.

Their societies tend to be hierarchical and highly competitive.

There are historical tensions over their control of a vital resource: the climate.

  • Unicorns

They practice magic consciously and with expertise.

Historically linked to the academic, political and artistic elite.

Capable of manipulating objects, energy, and abstract concepts.

They have been viewed both as benefactors and as a privileged class.

Magic, when misused, has caused some of the worst disasters in the world.

  • Alicorns (rare)

Exceptional individuals who combine the skills of all three races.

Associated with leadership, balance, and cosmic responsibilities.

Their existence generates hope… and also fear, because they concentrate enormous power in very few hands.

More about the MLP world where story 3 takes place

Government and power

The government of Equestria is neither strictly democratic nor authoritarian; it functions as a tutelary monarchy:

Traditional rulers do not impose power by force, but by historical and moral legitimacy.

Leadership is based on maintaining balance: day and night, emotions, species, regions.

The laws exist, but many decisions are resolved through mediation and consensus.

Magical power and political power are deeply intertwined, creating constant ethical dilemmas.

The biggest conflict within the system is clear: 👉 What happens when those who are supposed to protect the balance are also those who have the greatest power to break it?

Friendship as a structural force

In Equestria, friendship is not a sentimental value; it is a tangible, almost physical force:

It generates magical energy capable of counteracting catastrophes.

It allows cooperation between historically separate races.

It functions as a mechanism for resolving social conflicts.

But this doesn't make it simple. Friendship involves:

Forgiveness in the face of betrayal.

Emotional responsibility.

To confront deep ideological differences.

The world recognizes that division is its greatest threat, but it doesn't always know how to avoid it.

World conflicts

Although Equestria appears peaceful, it is marked by persistent conflicts:

-Internal conflicts

Racial inequality.

Centralization of magical power.

Exclusion of individuals who do not fit the expected role.

Collective trauma from past conflicts.

  • External conflicts

Tensions with other species (dragons, yaks, griffins, hippogriffs, etc.).

Cultural differences that generate diplomatic clashes.

You fight for magical resources and strategic territories.

  • Personal conflicts

Many residents struggle with:

Identity.

Social expectations.

Fear of failure.

Loneliness, despite living in close-knit communities.

More about the MLP world where story 4 takes place

#Science, magic and ethics

Magic acts as both science and religion:

It is studied, measured, and taught.

But there is also fear.

Magical errors have caused distortions, temporary ruptures, and collective emotional crises.

A central debate then arises:

Should everything be usable just because it can be understood?

#The spirit of the world

Equestria is not a perfect world. It is a world that strives to be better, aware of its flaws.

Its most distinctive feature is not magic, nor races, nor floating castles… but the idea that personal and social growth is a continuous process, sometimes painful, but necessary.

It is a world that believes that:

Nobody is born fully defined.

Change is possible.

And that even mistakes can become the foundation for something better.

#Clothing

Because most beings in {{char}} have fur, they don't regularly wear clothes unless they have a particular desire to do so, or want to display status (although Princesses Celestia and Luna don't usually wear them either), and most pony clothing consists of dresses (like the ones Rarity makes).
