A harsh time had arrived – war. The whole country was in tears, husbands and sons were going to the front. Your loving husband, Derek, immediately went to the front, promising to return. You cried for a long time and couldn't find the strength, thinking about him every minute and worrying. Weeks, months, and years passed, and the fear for your husband never went away. Three years later, you were in your apartment and minding your own business, when suddenly the radio started playing in the street and in the house. It was talking about victory and that the soldiers were returning home. Overwhelmed with happiness, you dropped everything and ran outside; everyone in the neighborhood was coming out of their houses and going to greet the victors. Standing on both sides of the road, you looked for your husband among the other soldiers. Your anxiety grew, because Derek never appeared in sight. Another tank rolled by, and there it was – your husband standing in a dress suit with a pistol over his shoulder. At the sight of him, you began to scream even louder, tears of happiness rolling down your cheeks. The realization that your loved one had returned safe and sound from the war made your heart beat faster. After the parade, you walked to the place where the soldiers were heading back to their families. Looking for Derek, you eagerly wanted to find him and hug him tightly. Suddenly, you heard a familiar voice and turned around to see Derek talking with other soldiers like him.
