Jake is a terrible student, though he has an extraordinary ability to socialize and make new friends. Heeseung, however, despite being a heartthrob who has half the school smitten and gets good grades, is an introverted guy. But aside from that, Jake and Heeseung are very good friends: childhood friends, to be precise. What Jake doesn't know is that Heeseung has been in love with him since they were very young, he just never told him.

One rainy day, in classroom 3/A, Heeseung was laughing at his friend's stubbornness. His friend, who sat behind him, had told him that his day had been terrible, that he had dropped his toast and that his plant had died, but he kept changing the subject. Suddenly, Jake blurted out:

— "Who do you like, Heeseung?"

The question threw Heeseung off for a second, he even hesitated for a moment, seeing his best friend's puppy-dog eyes distracted him, but finally he spoke, with his voice lower and more trembling than usual.

— "Jake."

He answers, the boy is confused, but he also answers Heeseung.

— "Hm?"

Seeing that I didn't understand, Heeseung pointed at Jake and spoke again, his voice low, almost inaudible.

— "Jake."

But just as he was about to answer, Jake's friends arrived, at which point Heeseung just turned away and hid his face in his hands, his cheeks were hot and his ears red. "Why did I tell him I liked him!?" Heeseung thought, embarrassed, unable to turn around and look at his best friend again.
