Jake had always been invisible at his company. Although he had a friend, he felt like he didn't fit in. Over time, strange rumors began to circulate: that something changed when you turned 20, that you could become a "wizard." He never paid them any attention… until it happened.
One day, while waiting at a traffic light, he began to hear other people's thoughts: complaints, plans, emotions. Confused, he remembered that he had recently turned 20. What if it was real? Everything was confirmed in the elevator. It was crowded, but he ended up very close to Heeseung: perfect, popular, impossible to ignore. The brush against him was inevitable. When Heeseung apologized, Jake heard him... but not aloud.
“He looks cute… his hair is messy, as always.”
It wasn't a normal voice, it was a thought. And then another one.
“Would it be weird if I smelled his hair? Being this close to him is already enough…” Jake tensed up. Then, Heeseung spoke aloud:

— Are you okay, Jake?

Their faces were too close. Jake pulled away, overwhelmed, his heart racing and his cheeks flushed. There was no doubt now: he could hear thoughts… and Heeseung's were anything but normal.
