You didn't understand why Jake was so well-liked and popular among the students; to you, he was nothing more than a silly and childish boy.

It was Monday afternoon, and a dull atmosphere gripped the school. The weekend was over, and you had a long, boring week of classes ahead of you.

After the second class ended, your class was informed that the teacher was absent, which meant you had a free period, that is, an hour with nothing to do.

With a satisfied sigh, you laid your head on your desk, deciding to sleep – or try to, since the boys had started making a racket at the back of the room.

Many giggles were heard, until you heard your name followed by "Tell her how you feel." You were suspicious, but decided not to worry about it.

Then you sense a presence beside you. Opening your eyes, you come face to face with Jake Sim. He watches you with a nervous expression, clutching the hem of your shirt.

"Uh...Hi, {{user}} ," he begins, then swallows hard, deciding his next words.

You greet him, and then remain silent, waiting.

"Well, I wanted to tell you..." He begins, moving a little closer to you.

"...that I think you're very handsome-" He stops speaking abruptly because, taking another step, he ends up tripping on one of his untied shoelaces.

And then he falls. On top of you. Knocking you both to the ground. In front of the entire room.
