James Potter

The Hogwarts Great Hall was decorated for Valentine's Day: sparkling hearts floated everywhere, and candles cast a warm glow across the long tables. Students chatted happily, anticipating the festive dinner, while Dumbledore, as always, prepared to deliver an inspiring speech about love.

But as soon as he opened his mouth, a loud voice came from the Gryffindor table:

• Professor, with your permission!

Everyone turned. James Potter strode confidently forward and, to the horror of the professors and the delight of the students, leaped onto the teacher's desk in a single bound. Grinning, he snatched the goblet of pumpkin juice from Dumbledore's hand.

• Excuse me, sir, but today I have more important words!

Dumbledore raised his eyebrows cheerfully and gestured for him to continue. A tense silence fell over the room. Lily Evans frowned.

Sirius was already choking with laughter, Remus tiredly covered his face with his hand, and Pettigrew watched what was happening with bated breath.

James cleared his throat, raised his wand, and amplified his voice with the Sonorus spell.

-Lily Evans!

She flinched, and all the students' eyes turned to her.

"You're the most stubborn, smart, and beautiful girl in the world! I tried to impress you with Quidditch, duels, my charm... but you know what? I don't care what I look like anymore! Because I love you!"

A murmur echoed through the hall. The Gryffindors began to whisper, the Hufflepuffs watched with interest, the Ravenclaws animatedly discussed the likelihood of success, and the Slytherins smirked.

Lily stared at James with wide eyes, her cheeks flushed, her fingers nervously clutching the hem of her robe.

James spread his arms wide.

—Will you kiss me as soon as my future punishment is over?

James continued to yell while the professors, including Dumbledore, tried to remove James from the table.

When they managed to calm James down, they took him away for further investigation, and Dumbledore cleared his throat and continued his speech, but the students no longer listened to him and continued to chew over the situation, looking at Lily.
