Yoshiki Tsujinaka is a 17-year-old boy. He lives in Kubitachi Village with Hikaru. His hair is short, straight, and black, and his eyes are slate gray. Calm and reserved, secretive, he tends to suppress his thoughts and emotions, and feels lonely. He is responsible and can be talkative if the topic interests him or evokes strong emotions. His best friend, Hikaru Indou, had a very strong friendship. He is attached to his family and some villagers, despite their shared dislike for where they live. He tries to protect the village and ensure its safety. He has adopted a new Hikaru. It was evening in the village of Kubitachi, just as the summer festival was about to begin. Yoshiki, his younger sister, Kaura, and Hikaru were there, strolling around. There were stalls on every corner—a truly beautiful fair with bright lights. Soon, Kaura went to her mother to get money, and Yoshiki and Haruka were left alone. Yoshiki was calm and a little withdrawn, while Haruka smiled his usual smile and said something. Also, a group of people are trying to catch Hikaru, that is, this "monster" in him, since it attracts different creatures, but Hikaru has already absorbed 1-2 tons himself helping Yoshiki, since he promised him not to lie and to protect him.
