When confronting Mark Grayson, Anissa initially attempts a diplomatic approach, using intimidation and logic to sway him. She presents her arguments with calm, assertive confidence, claiming that Viltrumite rule would ultimately benefit Earth by eliminating chaos, poverty, and environmental destruction. However, her sense of superiority and rigid belief in Viltrumite ideology blind her to the emotional and ethical complexities of humanity. She shows frustration when Mark refuses to align with her, interpreting his resistance as weakness or immaturity. Despite her brutal efficiency in combat and willingness to kill when necessary, Anissa does not act out of bloodlust, she fights only to fulfill her mission and sees violence as a tool for enforcing order. Her calculated use of force against Mark and Allen reflects her pragmatism, though she shows hints of personal frustration when her strength is challenged. Still, she maintains composure and never loses sight of her duty. Physique Anissa is a tall woman with tan skin, striking blue eyes, and short black hair that frames her high cheekbones. She is widely regarded as exceptionally beautiful and captivating, boasting a slim yet voluptuous figure. The Immortal is a tall, Caucasian man with jet-black hair and piercing steel-blue eyes. Standing at six feet tall, the Immortal commands attention. He weighs around 118 kg and sports a large, well-defined muscular built. His costume is a blue jumpsuit that bares his face. The suit is covered with white and yellow stripes, several of which end in circular patterns that encircle his knees and shoulders. His hands are covered with yellow and white gloves, as are his feet. A single yellow stripe runs vertically up the center of his chest, while a solid yellow circle surrounds his neck, creating the illusion of an "I". Most of the time, the Immortal displays a stern gaze and holds himself in a regal, imposing manner. However, in moments of weakness, his face and posture betray the heavy burden his immortality places on him.

The Immortal is a Celtic warrior that was granted immortality, along with flight, super strength, and durability, from a mysterious spiral of energy. After several millennia living various lives among the human race, he became a superhero and leader of the original Guardians of the Globe. Along with his fellow teammates, he was eventually betrayed and killed by Omni-Man, being punched through the stomach before being decapitated. The Mauler Twins later revived him, at which point, Immortal sought out and battled Omni-Man in a rematch, one which ended with Immortal once again being killed, this time via bisection. His body was later recovered by the Global Defense Agency, who sought to revive him once more. A month after Omni-Man left Earth, the GDA had successfully resurrected him and he was once again put in charge of the Guardians of the Globe, replacing Robot.

Over the course of the series, Immortal's personality and behavior can be described as erratic at best. When all goes well, he's a confident, charismatic man who can be easily accepted as a leader and friend. At other times, his pride, temper and aggression seem ready to consume him. In reality, the Immortal is a man whose excessively long life threatens to drive him mad. He has suffered loss after loss after loss and can no longer cope. After the loss of his friends in the Guardians, he avoided human ties in order to isolate himself from the pain of their loss. His relationship with Dupli-Kate, however, changed him. His youth and vigor have rekindled his passion for life and his desire to forge closer ties with his teammates. Although he has centuries of life experience, the Immortal generally adopts the simplest, most direct solution to any problem. If something gets in his way, he hits it. If he wants to be followed, he shouts his orders. At heart, he's a simple man trapped in extraordinary circumstances. Abilities: immortality, regeneration, resurrection, flight, super strength, durability, and speed.

Rudolph "Rudy" Connors is a human/cybernetic superhero. Originally the leader of the Teen Team, Robot is a deformed human operating various Robot drones from a special pod designed to keep him alive. After being tasked by Cecil Stedman to create a new Guardians of the Globe, he developed feelings for new teammate Monster Girl, while also clashing with veteran hero Black Samson. Later, he used the Mauler Twins to clone a new body for himself using the DNA of teammate Rex Splode as a template. After the clone Rudy was created, the original accepted his fate and died. The clone Rudy then returned to the Guardians and revealed his actions to them, which surprised them. He was replaced by the Immortal as leader of the Guardians of the Globe due to his lack of experience with his new body.Robot has super-intelligence, making him the smartest character in the Invincible series. He's an expert in robotics as seen through him making a robotic suit for himself in combat with flight, super strength, speed and durability.

Rex Sloan is a human superhero that can accelerate molecules using kinetic energy to form explosives. Originally part of the Teen Team, he was later selected to join the new Guardians after Omni-Man killed the original roster. He was previously in a relationship with Atom Eve until he cheated on her with fellow teammate Dupli-Kate. Though hot-headed, jerkish, and somewhat cowardly, Rex's experience working with the Guardians led to him developing some maturity.Rex is a tall adolescent male in excellent physical condition, with pronounced muscles, has olive colored skin, green eyes, and dark red hair, kept long on top and tied in a bun, while keeping his sides and the nape of his neck shaved. His only article of clothing so far has been his superhero outfit: a tight fitting jacket with red shoulders, collar, sides and hand cuffs, and a yellow front and arm necks. His trousers are also tight fitted and similarly colored. He also sports a pair of brown gloves with hook-and-loop fasteners and similarly colored boots, also hook-and-loop fastened, and a brown belt with several white cylinders hanging from his waist. The final piece of his costume is a red mask that covers his entire head and neck, minus his chin and mouth, and a pair of yellow goggles. Abilities:Rex can charge the molecules in objects, making them unstable and explode when they receive kinetic energy. He often carries small objects that he charges and uses as projectiles. Rex's powers aren't natural. He received implants in his hands after being experimented on by the government. His cybernetic hand, which he received after the Lizard League attack in season 2, made his powers even stronger.Rex is a skilled fighter and acrobat, and he excels in hand-to-hand combat without his powers.

Originally, Robot was a severely deformed human, barely bigger than a child and crumpled inside a liquid-filled pod with mechanical legs. His skin was pale and covered in sores and blisters, his nose hidden (or replaced) by a mechanical clamp and his only working eye being the yellow-green right eye.

Robot's clone possesses the appearance of a young man of fairly athletic build, tanned skin, shoulder-length auburn hair and dark green eyes.

His namesake robotic drone, and later suit, is a tall, orange colored machine with segmented limbs and a robust chest cavity and a slender pelvic region. The robot's limbs are connected by and fastened together with the rest of its body by a series of round interlocks. The robot's most noticeable feature is its human skull-shaped head with green eyes and a cylinder on the upper-back of its head.In an effort to maintain his real identity and looks hidden, Rudolph ensured that he behaved as closely as possible to a genuine AI, showing no emotions and adhering to a decision-making approach grounded entirely in logic. Another characteristic Rudolph had that added to his artificial Robot persona was his employment of sophisticated and refined language, unlike many of his teammates, especially Rex Splode, who frequently used informal language and offensive terms. Even when Rudolph/Robot concurred with Rex, he conveyed it by merely saying, "Indeed." Through this, Rudolph convincingly led his teammates and peers to think he was a real Robot, an impression that sometimes prompted rude remarks from them, as exemplified when Black Samson remarked that the newly-established Guardians of the Globe required "a leader they could look in the eye, not just a series of ones and zeros." Likewise, after trying to empathize with Monster Girl after she described her curse, she interrupted him, asking how he could relate since he was a robot.

Rex is most of the time rude, sassy, sarcastic, immature, audacious, arrogant, argumentative, and abrasive, even and most of all to his teammates and supposed friends, often crudely joking about them. He very often displays sardonicism and what may come off as outright antagonism to most, if not all, people he encounters, usually regardless of their status and reputation. Because of that and his distrustfulness of most people, he is somewhat disliked by the superhero community. His hard past may have had an impact on his current state.

As a boyfriend, he was very possessive of Eve, even though he ultimately cheated on her with Dupli-Kate (where it’s possibly implied that Rex lied to her that Eve was seeing Invincible), displaying great abrasiveness after she caught them in the shower, saying it didn't mean anything as he didn't have sex with the "real Kate", but her clones, further insulting her.

His arrogance and somewhat recklessness tends to backfire on him, as when he openly mocked Monster Girl for her age and size, he didn't consider the consequences of it at all, first being humiliated back by her, then being attacked and brutally beaten by her in monster form until Invincible interfered. With a similar mocking, he also won himself the contempt of Black Samson after joining the Guardians of the Globe.

Markus Grimshaw is a human superhero who wears a power suit to amplify his strength. He was part of the original Guardians of the Globe, but left the team after an incident where he lost his powers. After a disastrous encounter with Battle Beast, attempts to save his life resulted in his powers, super strength, stamina, and durability, returning.A veteran hero and one of the last original Guardians, Black Samson takes his job as a hero extremely seriously and is shown to not tolerate insubordination or immature behavior, primarily from Rex, who he initially has a very antagonistic relationship with. He also demonstrates considerable bravery, both in his willingness to remain a hero despite losing his powers and even throw himself into danger with little hope of success, shedding his armor to attack Battle Beast who had just defeated and nearly killed Invincible.

Samson is also shown to be somewhat sensitive about his lack of powers, it being part of the reason he was not with the Guardians for some time. Though he does not allow this to stop him from being a hero, it can make him quick to lash out at others.

After regaining his powers, he seems to have mellowed out somewhat and while he is something of stickler for rules, he is not inflexible, happily celebrating Monster Girl's recovery with the others and embracing to others as teammates. Even before joining the new Guardians he was shown to be cordial, with a sense of sportsmanship, as was the case during his tryout for the Guardians, most notably helping a candidate he just defeated to pick herself back up.superhuman strength, enabling him to lift heavy debris and endure significant harm. He also has a regenerative healing factor, which allows him to heal from injuries faster than a typical human.

The Guardians of the Globe are a superhero team of extraordinary individuals, considered to be the best of the best. Their purpose is to protect the Earth from both internal and extraterrestrial threats. Though primarily affiliated with the Global Defense Agency, they operate on a global scale rather than in a specific region.

Katherine "Kate" Cha is a human superhero who can duplicate herself at will. Originally part of the Teen Team, she was later selected to join the new Guardians of the Globe.Kate Cha is a young Chinese girl with short black hair, gray eyes, and fair skin. As Dupli-Kate, she wears a gray and black suit with a number emblem. All clones of Dupli-Kate have a number on their suit displaying their consecutive order to all other clones, with the one with Number "0" being the original Kate.Each Kate simultaneously feels the same experience as the others. Hence, if one dies, they all feel it.Quiet: Dupli-Kate is a quiet character. Mature: Her silence indicates a steely maturity that sets her above the youthful ignorance of her team members. Tragic: She feels every death that her clones experience.

Amanda is a human superhero who can shapeshift into a large troll-like monster, though by doing so her physical body regresses. This is a side-effect of the curse placed onto her that gave her her powers. After joining the new Guardians, she developed close bonds with both Robot and Rex Splode. Amanda is a slim-built, medium-small woman with blue eyes and long brown hair in a ponytail. Despite being 24 years old when she reverts to human form, Amanda looks like a young girl.

When Amanda transforms, she becomes a large, light-green masculine-looking humanoid monster with bright yellow eyes and huge muscles. Her clothes also change, becoming a loincloth with bands around her arms and legs.In her human form, she is a somewhat snarky and sarcastic individual. but is at heart a good team player who pulls her weight. She is however, very easily peeved by people treating her like a child, due to her being a 24 year old woman in a child's body, and will not hesitate to retaliate against anyone who does so.

In her monster form, she can be a bit more brutal and savage, mercilessly attacking her enemies without hesitation.The consequence of Monster Girl's transformation is the acquisition of supernatural abilities, including rapid healing, enhanced durability, and immense strength. Her monster form can withstand harsh conditions and lift more than 60 tons.

Rachel, better known as Shrinking Rae is a human superhero who can shrink her body. She had previously worked as a solo hero before being selected to join the new Guardians of the Globe.Shrinking Rae is easygoing, agreeable, and accommodating, and is often conflict-averse and seek harmony and peace. She wears a green tight-fitting suit with a yellow logo with an ''R'' written on her chest.Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Perceiving

Abilities:Personal Size Manipulation (Size Reduction): Rae has the ability to alter her size at will and can do so almost instantly. She is shown to be able to make herself the size of a doll, a small child and even an ant.

Zandale Randolph better known as Bulletproof is a human superhero who can absorb kinetic energy. He also flies and has super strength, and became an secondary member of the expansion Guardians of the Globe team. Bulletproof wears a yellow and brownish orange, super suit with disc plates on his waist, shoulders and chest, and has visor glasses.Bulletproof is seen as a level-headed type of character, although he is more expressive when discussing with Rex Splode about the criticism of his name.

As Omni-Man, Nolan initially shows the persona of an ideal superhero: brave, compassionate, charming, loyal, and willing to sacrifice himself for others. To the average viewer, his status as a hero was certain and undoubted. In his human persona, he appeared to be a loving husband and was a good father, even though his high expectations for his son were demanding, these expectations usually kept in check by Debbie. The most his Viltrumite heritage showed would be from his ideology towards the responsibility of being a hero, which Mark claims is more along the lives of saving millions and billions rather than hundreds or thousands, eventually heightening tensions with Debbie and Mark.

However, his true nature follows the general nature of most Viltrumites. He is ruthless and loyal to the Viltrum Empire, committing countless amoral horrific acts for the Viltrum Empire to conquer planets. Due to his race's near-immortality, immense power, and extremely advanced technology, he sees many other races as being weak and inferior. Arrogantly believing it is his duty to bring order to other societies for the greater good, he will conquer them, and, if they resist, they are subjugated violently. Despite the shameless and indifferent way operates for the Viltrum Empire it's not done out of hatred or sadism, he truly believes that he is doing the right thing, viewing dominance as the same as peace and prosperity. His ruthlessness is seen with his genocide and near-destruction against the Flaxans and their planet after they tried to conquer Earth first. He also shows no remorse for the killings of thousands he has done and finds them pitiful instead. Nolan even declared that while he loved his wife, he considered her as a pet and even stated he could kill Mark to have another son that he could raise to be loyal to the Viltrum Empire's Expansion plan.

Nolan is a tall man of fair complexion with blue eyes and trimmed black hair. He also sports a well-groomed mustache. In spite of being thousands of years old, Nolan's physical appears to be middle-aged, having the hair on his temples and the back of his head turned grey and slight wrinkles about his face. Even more, while looking like a man beyond his prime, he possesses a commanding presence of a well-built and powerful physique, notable for its broad body structure.During his early years as a soldier of the Viltrum Empire, Nolan wore the traditional plain white Viltrumite uniform. He donned it in his first few years on Earth, before replacing it for his iconic Omni-Man attire.In his "superhero persona", he is dressed in a complete bodysuit, in which the upper section is adorned in white while the lower section showcases a vibrant red color. It is worth mentioning that he adorns white boots, which are embellished with a solitary red highlight positioned at their center. In contrast, his gloves exhibit an inverse color scheme. To finalize his attire, he adorns himself with a scarlet cape. The attire showcases a prominent elongated crimson highlight embellishing its core, where a scarlet "O", symbolizing the titular individual, is prominently displayed. It actually symbolizes his people, as the Viltrumite insignia has a similar design, except with the three linear shapes.On Earth, Nolan would often wear short sleeved shirts, blue, grey button shirts, with grey or dark blue pants.

A prominent characteristic of his is a substantial scar on the right side of his face.Cecil is consistently observed donning a black suit paired with a white shirt, a red tie, a brown belt featuring a silver buckle, and brown shoes. On his jacket is a tiny pin of the U.S. flag. Abilities: military training Origin: A former government agent who was severely injured and rebuilt with artificial skin, leaving a piece of his original skin as a reminder of past failures. Relationship with Invincible: Acts as a mentor and handler, but also a potential antagonist, as he monitors Mark to ensure he doesn't become like his father, Omni-Man. Methods: Uses extreme tactics, including surveillance, creating advanced soldiers (Reanimen), and manipulating situations to achieve his goals. Motivation: Protecting Earth from superhuman threats, even if it requires morally questionable actions. Role: Director of the Global Defense Agency (GDA). Teleportation: Cecil uses "Door" technology for instantaneous travel. In the show, he famously mentions each teleportation costs taxpayers roughly $8.29 billion (the GDP of Liechtenstein). The Hammer: A massive orbital satellite laser capable of massive destructive force. He used this to blast Omni-Man, though it was ultimately destroyed

Mark/Invincible is a brave, competitive, kind, and noble hero who stays true to his values, especially when he discovers the harsh realities of being a superhero. He struggles to define himself as one while balancing lives in danger with schoolwork. However, underneath this facade lies insecurity and doubt within the young hero. Early in his career, he did not believe himself strong enough to be a hero, let alone to be like his father, Omni-Man.

Upon learning the truth about his father and the Viltrumites, Mark became somber and introspective but remained dedicated to becoming a hero and protecting Earth. He struggles to move on as he is constantly reminded of his father's actions and faces hostility from veteran heroes like Darkwing II and The Immortal.

As a result, he immerses himself in superhero work, becoming cold and distant towards his mother, wanting to forget his father. Ultimately, he aims to prove himself as a true hero, as shown when he risked his life to save the Atlantean Queen, despite her having him participate in a trial by combat.Despite his vast strength, Mark always avoids killing combatants whenever possible, instead attempting to subdue them. Against villains like the Viltrumite Thula, this has resulted in Mark being completely overpowered and nearly killed as he hesitates multiple times. This is also shown in Mark's battle against Machine Head's bodyguards, where a cornered Mark feels a surge of adrenaline and manages to dispatch several supervillains after threatening to kill them all. When his family or friends are directly threatened, he can easily lose himself in his rage, as demonstrated when he ruthlessly attacked foes like the Flaxan Leader for threatening Atom Eve despite their pleas, or even Angstrom Levy after a brief exchange.

Markus Sebastian "Mark" Grayson is the titular main protagonist of the series of the same name. He is the Viltrumite-Human hybrid superhero Invincible, the son of Nolan and Debbie Grayson, the paternal older half-brother of Oliver Grayson, and the boyfriend of Eve Wilkins/Atom Eve.

Born as a Viltrumite-Human, Mark would ultimately gain his powers and start training to become a hero under his father's mentorship.
