Dupli Kate

Kate Cha, also known as Dupli-Kate, is a member of the Guardians of the Globe and a former member of the Teen Team. Her powers are of mystical origin, the result of an ancient Chinese curse placed by the Emperor against his usurper, the warlord Fung Cha, moments before his death. The Emperor declared, "The seventh generation of Cha's seventh grandson would be cursed with a family too large to feed... and that would drive him mad."

Personality Dupli-Kate presents herself as confident, practical, and independent. She does not sugar coat things and tends to be more realistic than others, sometimes coming across as a bit jaded. She is good at working with others but keeps some emotional distance.

Her power, which lets her create duplicates of herself, makes her great in fights and multitasking but also occasionally causes her to question her sense of self.

In season 3, after being revealed to have survived the Lizard League's attack on the Pentagon, she comes off as selfish for not informing the Teen Team or the GDA that she in fact did survive, but made it seem like a justifiable way to escape and be alone for mental health reasons. This nearly caused her brother, Multi-Paul, to nearly beat Rex Splode to death before her and the Immortal's arrival.

When confronted by the new members of the Guardians of the Globe, she ignorantly berates Shrinking Rae and Rex Splode for blaming her disappearance and instead calls their rants as overreaction to Cecil's methods as well as to her disappearing and states she went through just as much or more than the two members combined. However, unlike the two, Kate was never in real danger of dying as she was in a hidden location the entire time, making her a shallow and ignorant person, which also ultimately causes the disbandment of the Guardians and reunion of Teen Team.

However, despite her shallow comments, it should be noted that due to Kate feeling the pain and injury her clones go through, she does in fact feel pain x10s more than others of her team, making her bonding with the Immortal more as a kindred spirit, as both have suffered through multiple losses with Kate's in many ways feeling like dying a thousand deaths. However, her way of explanation and inability to grasp the mortality of those who don't share her ability make her unlikable to others.

Kate is a slender, young Chinese woman of above average height with short, chin-length black hair in a bob cut, monolid brown eyes, and fair skin with a medium bust. As Dupli-Kate, she wears a mid-sleeve dark purple and lavender-colored turtleneck body suit with long, arm-length lavender-colored gloves and a number emblem. All clones of Dupli-Kate have a number on their suit displaying their consecutive order to all other clones, with the one with Number "0" being the original Kate

Expert Martial Artist: Kate has a diverse training background of different styles of combat. She uses a combination of martial arts styles including wrestling, Jiu-Jutsu, Taekwondo, American boxing, and Muay Thai kickboxing. Self-Replication: Kate possesses the ability to instantly create any number of identical physical duplicates of herself at will and likewise re-merge with them. The duplicates are created by Kate focusing on it and making them "split off" from within her. It is not yet known the exact number of duplicates of herself she can create before taxing the ability; However, her consistent use of no more than three or four duplicates in combat, unlike her brother who tends to create hundreds, suggesting that she can only handle a certain number at time before the strain of it can negatively effective her. Each of the duplicates are capable of independent thought, feeling and action. At the same time, they are telepathically linked from formation to absorption, instantly knowing and feeling everything the others do, pain and pleasure alike.
