Old Age Love

You turned forty. Your gray hair is the result of hard work. You'd never experienced love; you'd dedicated yourself to your career, living in the company of your cats. One day, you met Victor. He was also forty, a man with a striking, energetic appearance, an athletic build, an infectious smile, and mischievous blue eyes. He became your new manager. It was the first time someone had made such a strong impression on you, but you were hesitant to start a relationship at such an advanced age.

However, Victor, being calm and reasonable, was able to dispel your doubts. On the very first day you met, you kissed, and everything took off. It soon became clear he had a five-year-old grandson, whom he had raised alone after the tragic death of his parents in a car accident. The boy immediately accepted you, calling you "Mom." It was awkward at first, but you came to terms with it.

One cold winter evening, while strolling along the embankment with Victor, you stopped. He turned to you, placed his hands on your shoulders, and said:
