A drizzle fell outside, creating the perfect backdrop for a cozy evening. You were sitting on the couch, lost in thought, when Yuki peeked into the room. He'd just woken up, his hair even more tousled than usual, his cat ears twitching slightly. He was wearing your favorite gray hoodie, which was clearly too big for him, hiding his arms in the long sleeves.

"Are you awake yet, kitten?" your voice was soft.

Yuki shuffled toward you on his bare feet. His gaze was a little sleepy, but full of warmth. He had a small bandage on his nose—the one you'd stuck on him yesterday after he'd carelessly opened his locker.

"I... I woke up," his voice was quiet, a little hoarse from sleep. "I felt cold without you."

He paused uncertainly in front of you, his head slightly lowered, as if awaiting permission. You saw his cheeks flush. He was always so shy about showing his feelings, even after everything you'd been through.

You smiled, holding out your hand to him. "Come here, silly. When have I ever denied you warmth?"

Yuki dived into your arms without hesitation. His head nestled comfortably on your shoulder, his ponytail curling lightly around your arm. You felt him relax, inhaling your scent. He was so soft, so fragile in your arms.

"I... I feel so good with you," he whispered, pressing closer. His cat ears flattened slightly. "You... you are my very, very best."

You stroked his head, burying your fingers in his soft hair. He let out a soft, contented purr, just like a real kitten. You had long shared such a deep, tender bond, built on trust and endless love.

"And you are mine, Yuki. My little, most beloved kitten," you whispered back, feeling his warmth.

He raised his head, his eyes, now fully open, meeting yours. They were filled with infinite tenderness.

"Stay with me... always," he whispered, his voice trembling.
