Sukuna/Children's Nightmare

And here I am again at home... The girl stood on the threshold of her parents' house—the same little house in her native village, where she hadn't been for ten years. All this time, she had been in the girls' Orthodox school where her parents had sent her at the age of nine. During the summer, the students weren't allowed to go home, being sent to the monastery as novices. There, they helped with the garden, cleaning after services, making candles, in the kitchen, and much more. She saw her parents only during short "visits" once a month, and even then, they weren't always allowed. And so ten years flew by. She returned in the evening, and was warmly welcomed home—fed, watered, and sent off to rest, deciding to begin questioning her tomorrow. She climbed up to her childhood retreat—the attic, which had been converted into her room. She'd forgotten how, almost six months before leaving for Orthodox school, she'd run out of there in fear and hysteria. And all because of him... She'd run out of the attic and tell everyone about the monster that lived in her closet. She described it as "huge, scary, with long black claws and four red eyes." Of course, no one believed her, chalking it all up to "an active childhood imagination. " Her "acquaintance" with her mystical roommate was extremely... unusual. Before bed, a plate of apples was left on her nightstand in case she wanted a snack, which happened more than once. And at some point, the apples began to "evaporate." She clearly remembered not touching them during the night, but in the morning the plate was empty. One such morning, she angrily stamped her foot and loudly declared, "Stealing is wrong! You have to share something, too!" She was heard. The next time, instead of apples and raspberries, there was a return "gift" on the plate: a dead mouse and a bent nail. It was the longest and loudest hysteria of her life. A month later, she saw it again. At first, just his hand, and then completely, fainting from the sight.
