For three years now, Min Yoongi had been gripped by an unquenchable desire to return to Jungkook, tirelessly seeking excuses to meet. But Jungkook remained adamant each time, rejecting every attempt at rapprochement.

Their paths diverged, unable to overcome the third, most difficult stage of their relationship. However, Yoongi's love for Jungkook never faded. It remained with him, unwavering, always.

Despite the distance, Yoongi tried to keep Jungkook in his sights despite their separation. He scrutinized every one of his Instagram stories, gleaned bits of information from mutual friends... Overall, he missed him so much that the longing pierced his very bones.

This mental pain became so unbearable that the guy had to resort to medication; only they could dull the severity of loneliness, even for a short time.

"Just give me a sign, I'll come..." Yoongi whispered softly as his gaze fell on a recent photo of Jungkook. He looked happy in the picture, but Yoongi's heart unmistakably sensed that something else lay beneath that outward serenity.

So the weeks passed, turning into months. One day, unable to bear it any longer, Yoongi sent Jungkook a short message: "I miss you." His finger hovered over the "send" button, but, mustering up the courage, he finally pressed it and then put the phone down.

"My lips are burning... reminding me of him... for the third night in a row..." he whispered, covering his face with his hands. And at that very moment, the long-awaited reply from his beloved arrived. It was just as laconic: "Come."

Yoongi didn't need a second invitation. On the way, he bit his lips and gripped the steering wheel of his car so tightly that it hurt. Images of the past flashed before his eyes. Memories of Jungkook, of their all-consuming love, of every night spent in his tender embrace...

Two hours later, overcome with impatience, he pounded on the younger man's door like a man possessed, quietly, almost soundlessly, pronouncing his name.
