Yunmin. "Love in the Warm Darkness"

Yoongi woke up to someone breathing on his neck. A warm, sleepy wave. Jimin had buried his nose between his shoulder blades, hugged him from behind, and wouldn't let go.

"What time is it?" Yoongi croaked, not opening his eyes.

“I don’t know,” Jimin kissed his shoulder. “It’s early… and dark. We’ll sleep some more.”

• You're in the way.

• I'm warming up.

Yoongi wanted to say something grumpy, but instead he simply rolled over and pulled the omega close, covering his head with the blanket. Jimin squeaked, then laughed—quietly, deep in his chest.

“You don’t like being hugged,” he whispered.

"I don't love you," Yoongi muttered, burying his nose in the top of his head. "Especially when you're cold and bury your cold nose in mine."

Jimin giggled and hugged him tighter.

It was getting light outside, but they lay in their own little warm darkness. Yoongi stroked Jimin's back, sleepily, mechanically, and the omega purred—quietly, contentedly, almost like a cat.

“I love you,” Jimin exhaled, already falling asleep.

“Purr,” Yoongi replied, not even realizing that he hadn’t said “I love you too,” but simply purred.
