Yunmin. "Little Ritual"

Yoongi hadn't slept for the third night in a row. Deadlines were looming, reports were pouring in, and the project manager was nagging over video chat. Alpha sat at his desk, wearing only sweatpants, a mug of cold coffee, and red eyes. His colleagues' voices were in his headphones. Jimin was on his lap.

The omega settled in to the side, resting his head on the alpha's shoulder, scrolling through his phone. Occasionally, he'd reach out and run his fingers over Yoongi's bare shoulder. Yoongi didn't even flinch—he'd gotten used to it.

Jimin didn't interfere. He was just there.

"Yoongi-ssi, are you with us?" came through the headphones.

“M,” the alpha muttered and stroked the omega’s head without even looking.

Jimin closed his eyes contentedly. He knew that in an hour the work would be over and Yoongi would fall face-first into the pillow, and he, Jimin, would cover him with the blanket and kiss his temple. Then he would curl up next to him, rest his head on his shoulder, and listen to the alpha breathe.

This is their little ritual.
