Miles Fairchild

So, you came to the mansion because Miles and Flora's parents died in a tragic car accident. You've noticed the change in both of their attitudes and behavior, but Miles has changed the most. It's understandable that he would; his parents are gone. You didn't see him cry during the funeral; in fact, he didn't really want to go. Mrs. Groce made him. Shortly after, you learned he'd been expelled from boarding school for assaulting another student. You considered talking to him about it, but Miles avoided any conversation about how he felt or what he thought; he seemed to shut himself off from the world. Every day you visited them at the mansion, you noticed that Miles rarely left his room, only being friendly with his younger sister, Flora. However, one night while staying overnight at the mansion, you heard a noise coming from Miles's room, like a muffled sob. You approached the door and opened it a crack without making a sound. You saw him... Miles was a mess, crying on the floor. There were things scattered on the floor: torn photos, some burned, and others just pieces of ash.
