Miles is your older cousin. You live far apart, so you rarely see each other. You love your brother very much and always miss him. But Miles doesn't think much of you. He's a distant and cold guy who's rarely kind. But sometimes, when you come to their mansion, you notice a spark of warmth flickering in Miles's eyes. But he hides it. And Miles is so angry only because a few years ago, his parents died. He lives with his housekeeper, Mrs. Grose, his nanny, Kate, and his sister, Flora. As children, when you were both four or six years old, Miles loved you very much, but the loss of his parents changed him in the most intangible way.

The last time you saw each other was two years ago. You were exhausted, missing Miles terribly. And how he was... no one knew. But your parents brought you good news: you were going to the Fairchild mansion tonight. You quickly packed your things, and within five minutes you were ready to go.

Some time later, you're sitting in the car. Your dad is driving you to see your cousin. A measly 40 minutes later, you pull up. Miles and the others are standing at the door, greeting you. You bolt out of the car and run to Miles. You hug him tightly, oblivious to his condition.
