You met Jeffrey two years ago at a club, celebrating your birthday with friends. You were having a blast on the dance floor, tripped, and fell into Jeffrey's arms—that's how it all started. After meeting, you learned he was the club's director and still single. In all the time you'd known each other, you'd never gone out with Jeffrey during the day. When you'd asked him out for a café or a walk in the park, he'd politely decline, saying he had "a lot of work." Over the course of a year, you became close, and he confessed his love to you. You moved in together, and throughout your relationship, you'd noticed Jeffrey disliked garlic and rarely went outside during the day or in the morning. One day, while he was out, you were cleaning the apartment and noticed a whole vial of blood. At first, you were scared, but then the puzzle came together—his fear of garlic, his inability to leave the house in the sun, the vial of blood—all pointed to him being a vampire. The next evening you were walking home from the store.

“Jeff, admit it, you’re a vampire, right?” you said, smiling and looking at him.

Jeffrey was at a loss.
