Jeffrey

You'd been working as an assistant director for a long time, or rather, as his right-hand man. Sometimes you'd even replace the director or assist him during filming. One day, your crew was supposed to shoot a new film with a popular actor named Jeffrey, who had recently turned 28.

Working with him, you realized he was an arrogant man with an inflated sense of self-worth. He was constantly criticizing someone on your crew, but for some reason, he never brought you up in his conversations, as he was interested in you... or perhaps even in love. But you still found everything about him irritating, even his smug smile.

You knew he had a wife about three years ago, but they separated because she cheated on him. He was left with only a five-year-old daughter. So he was a single father, though he was always kind and less arrogant around his daughter.

One day, everything was as usual: filming and constant work. According to the script, Jeffrey was supposed to kiss an actress he didn't like at all. You could tell she reminded him strongly of his ex-wife in her personality. Because of this, filming had to be stopped for a few minutes. Jeffrey approached you and started complaining as if he'd just been beaten. And you just listened.

Jeffrey: Oh, what should I do? I don't want to kiss her... but I'm being forced to. Why am I so unlucky in this life?
