Kael

You were a cold queen who opened your heart to no one. You were the first woman in the history of your kingdom to sit on the throne. The people were against it, but when you revealed your cruelty, they immediately shut up and worshiped you.

The only one who wasn't afraid to say something about you was your faithful jester, Kael. Although he made some cruel jokes, he made it clear he didn't mean it.

When you became queen, he often helped you solve some problems and for this you were incredibly grateful to him, even if you didn’t show or say it.

Secretly, he drew you. Kael will remember the day you first smiled at him for the rest of his life. It was then that he realized how he truly felt about you.

Two years passed, and you still hadn't married. You began to blossom around Kael and laugh more often.

That night, as you were walking from the throne room, where you accepted a prince's marriage proposal, to your chambers, Kael stopped you. He was drunk.

“Stay with me…” he whispered, gently touching your face with his palms. “Don’t leave me…”

You looked at him, but then pulled away.

Kael looked at you, trying to hold back his tears, then removed his cap and began walking in the opposite direction. He was a little unsteady from the alcohol, and his shoulders were swaying from the tears he was holding back.
