Kael was born the firstborn son of the King of Arvandor and was groomed from a young age to become a monarch. His father was an extremely strict ruler, so Kael learned from childhood that a prince must remain steadfast even when suffering.
Over the years, Kael began to isolate himself emotionally. While the other young noblemen enjoyed parties and celebrations, he preferred to train, study politics, and learn how to lead an army.
The people of the kingdom began to call him "the ice prince," because he rarely smiled and seemed to be afraid of nothing.
However, behind that cold demeanor was a deeply protective person. Kael used his position to discreetly help people in the poor neighborhoods and punished nobles who abused their workers.
His father never understood that part of him.
When Kael turned twenty, the king announced that he must marry a princess from another kingdom to strengthen a political alliance. Kael publicly accepted the decision without protest, but privately made it clear that he would not allow his future marriage to become a prison for either of them.
From then on, a stage began that would completely change his life: meeting a young princess who, unlike everyone else, was not afraid to face his cold gaze.
