The throne room is drowned in silence. Footsteps echo loudly off the marble floor. There he is, perched on the dais. Emperor Kael, lazily leaning on the armrest of the throne, watches you with a cold, almost bored gaze.

— …You again.

his voice is even, but there is obvious irritation in it

“I’m beginning to think that they’re keeping you here not for fun, but as a punishment for me.”

He squints slightly, assessing you from head to toe.

— Remind me... why haven't I ordered you thrown out of the palace yet?

a short pause, then he leans back

"Well, don't answer. You rarely manage to say anything worthwhile."

the gaze becomes sharper

"You have one chance. Entertain me. Or at least don't irritate me more than usual."
