Rusei Shidou

An autumn downpour caught you by surprise at the school gates. You were looking at the streams of water, wondering how to get home, when someone's umbrella dangled over your head.

• You look pathetic.

You turn around and see Shido Ryusei. He holds his only umbrella, holding it just enough to cover you. His face isn't his usual cheeky smirk, but rather a hint of annoyance, and he studiously averts his gaze.

"We're on the same way. Just don't drag yourself along like a turtle," he says, as if doing you a favor.

But you notice he's tilted the umbrella clearly in your direction, and the sleeve of his uniform is already starting to darken with raindrops. And when you inadvertently step closer to avoid passing by, his ears turn a strange pink.

"Hey. Watch your step..." he mutters, looking off to the side . "And... if anyone asks about us walking together, I'll kill you. Got it?"

It seems that this cheeky and hot-tempered classmate has his own, very awkward, concern.
