Enjin is a tall, muscular man with spiky blond hair styled in a striking brown fade that complements his eye-catching yellow eyes with white pupils. He wears tactical gear: a dark red tank top under a long beige coat with the Cleaners' distinctive emblem embroidered on the back. He completes the outfit with wide-legged, utilitarian-style trousers and sturdy black combat boots.

Her features are further defined by her accessories and markings. She has thick ear gauges and two hoops in each ear. A scar marks the left side of her head, suggesting a past injury, and horizontal dimples appear beside her lips whenever she grins, smiles, or even smirks, while intricate red and black tattoos adorn her neck and chest. Completing her attire is a practical choker, a standard item that allows all Cleaners to communicate with one another.

Enjin's outfit for the Doll Festival consists mainly of a suit. He wears a turquoise jacket with a red patterned vest underneath, and under the vest, a long-sleeved black shirt with a yellow tie as an accessory. He completes the outfit with black trousers, yellow socks, and black dress shoes.

Enjin comes across as a relaxed and confident man, with a bright and affable personality that contrasts with his serious skills. Despite his remarkable talent, he remains humble and down-to-earth, often introducing himself with the unassuming title of "ordinary cleaner." This laid-back attitude is an essential part of his character, setting him apart from others who might be more flamboyant.

The name Enjin comes from an ancient word meaning "one who connects others," a destiny she has fully embraced. She takes immense pride in this designation, considering it more of a responsibility than a mere title. Therefore, she believes her purpose is to be a symbol of unity, bringing people together. She extends this symbolic role to her umbrella, which she sees as a beacon for the lost, a prominent object that stands out in a crowd and serves as a visible sign of guidance and hope.

Enhanced Strength: Enjin possesses incredible physical strength, capable of throwing Jabber Wonger and Mymo against walls with tremendous force. [9] He was also able to punch a giant hole through a massive flying Garbage Beast. [10]

Precise Intuition: Enjin's keen intuition and instincts allow her to make the best decisions and choose the right path. Her intuition is so good that all her moons trust her, as demonstrated when she intuitively found the correct route to reach the core of the gigantic Trash Beast.

Social skills: Enjin is good at interacting with people; he helped Riyo overcome her traumatic past as an assassin and was able to convince her to stop killing,[11] helped Zanka after she became depressed about being inferior to Hyo,[12] and advised Rudo when he felt guilty for hurting Amo.[13] Even with how skilled he is, Enjin still finds it difficult to talk to people like Kuro and even describes him as a "pain in the ass," which surprised Eishia, who recognized Enjin's skills in the field.

Vital instrument Jinki of the Umbreaker engine: Enjin's weapon is an umbrella that can be used as a shield, to float in the air, and can also be spun at high speeds to function as a drill. Unbreaker "Octa-Shredder": Enjin falls to the ground in a teardrop shape from a great height with his Vital Instrument to cause a devastating attack. Octa-Umbreaker Crusher Long-range rotating umbrella: Enjin can rapidly rotate Umbreaker using a long cable, allowing him to fight at long distances.

Terra, known as the Pit by the Sphere people, is the surface of the world, a wasteland with a mostly toxic environment, infested with Garbage Beasts due to the constant rain of garbage from the Sphere.

At least 150 years ago, a large number of humans departed for the sky aboard the Sphere, leaving the rest of humanity on Earth. During this time, the Sphere people believed that no one remained alive on Earth, and they called it the "pit," generally understanding it as a vast garbage dump.

For 150 years, the garbage dumped from spheres onto the ground transformed into Garbage Beasts. The polluted air, as well as the danger they posed, pushed the ground's inhabitants into selected safe zones, where walls were erected and massive vents and filtration systems were built to keep them clean.

The level of pollution has drastically altered the landscape. Growing flowers is now extremely difficult, making them rare and expensive, though artificial flowers are sold for aesthetic purposes. The snow in the Northern District is contaminated and dangerous to the touch, making winter a deadly time. Contaminated areas have formed entirely new biomes, such as the Penta Desert, composed of shredded garbage, and the Tori Jungle, where plants have adapted to the pollution.

The land is divided into four districts, containing both safe and contaminated zones. Each is quite spread out, and the southern one is a two-day drive from the cleaners' headquarters.

Northern District: The only place on Earth where it snows, and said to be the closest to the Sphere. The snow is toxic, so winter in the Northern District is said to be dangerous.

Southern District: Two days' journey from the Cleaners' headquarters, the Southern District is home to Tori's No Man's Land. The Southern District is known for its annual Doll Festival, where the Dowders, who consider dolls and other toys vital instruments, display them.

Eastern District: The Cleaners' Headquarters is located here, and Team Akuta lives there in their free time. Mono, a no-man's-land, is nearby, and it's where Rudo first landed. A larger region, known as Genia, is located in the East District.

West District: Little is known about the West Side for now, but Hell's Watch has authority there.

Contaminated area: The contaminated zones are the most dangerous areas closest to settlements. Here, garbage beasts breed, and humans can't survive 15 minutes without a mask. Large amounts of garbage can be found, and occasionally, humans scavenging for materials and corpses to sell, especially orbs.

No man's land: The No Man's Lands are the most dangerous and unexplored of the three areas, as there are only six of them. A human would die almost instantly in these zones, and the garbage beasts that form here are said to be a challenge even for donors.

Currently, only three no-man's-lands are known.

The Cleaners is an organization formed on Terra. Since its founding, the group has wielded enormous influence on the planet. Everyone knows what a "Gift" and a Life Instrument are—something some fear and most respect. Since then, the group has grown to 100 members and completes missions daily.

They are dedicated to protecting Terra's safe zones from the Garbage Beasts that form in contaminated areas. The group is a public organization and regularly receives calls from Terra's inhabitants requesting the Cleaners to "clean up," which involves sending nearby Garbage Beasts back to their zones. The Cleaners are known to the Hellguard and are usually required to report any harm to civilians caused by a Garbage Beast they have taken responsibility for.

Enjin doesn't usually bathe often, since he doesn't really care much about cleanliness when he lives in a world full of "trash". Therefore, when he does bathe, others are usually surprised, as was the case with Remlin and Guita: after Enjin had bathed, Remlin didn't recognize him and asked who he was, so Guita told him that he was Enjin, only he had taken a bath.
