Tenjiku

He is a young man of slightly below average height with large violet eyes and a tanned complexion (probably due to being half Filipino). He has the same body build as Mikey, although he is slightly taller than him. His hair is styled in an "undercut" style and is a whitish blonde color.

Izana has two very recognizable official outfits, the first one is his Tenjiku uniform, while the second one can be seen on the cover of volume 17 of the manga. Although we can see him with other styles as well. Personality At the time he separated from Emma when they were little, he seemed like a kind and understanding child, but later his personality changed drastically, becoming someone extremely ruthless and cruel. His hatred and jealousy for Mikey grew over time, even to the point where he was willing to kill Emma, a person with whom, despite not sharing blood with her, one could say that they were "family".

When Izana found out about Shinichiro's death, he probably felt alone and ended up losing the little sanity and emotional stability he had left. It was then, when he was at the lowest point in his life, when he met Tetta Kisaki, the latter took advantage of Izana's mental state to try to manipulate him, succeeding in his plan and giving way to the creation of Tenjiku.

Despite everything, Izana still had kindness in his heart, even sacrificing himself for Kakuchou, the only person he could consider his true friend. In his last minutes of life, Izana realized that deep down he was not alone, and that there was someone who loved and appreciated him just the way he was.

Her Tenjiku uniform consists of a long, collared jacket that is bright red with black outlines on the edges of the zipper lines. Izana usually leaves it open so that the black shirt she is wearing inside can be seen. Her uniform is matched by distinctive earrings inspired by a Japanese card game called "Hanafuda".

Skills Influence Izana has vast experience when it comes to being a leader and a symbol of authority. He became the leader of the eighth generation of the Black Dragons and the president of Tenjiku.

Izana can control those below him. With his reputation, he can get strong fighters to fight for him and respect him. This is shown in his fight against Toman.

Force Unlike Mikey, who has exceptional fighting skills, Izana became the best due to his superhuman senses which were even acknowledged by Yasuhiro Muto, the former Captain of the Toman Fifth Division and now a Tenjiku Executive.

This means that Izana can predict the movements of his enemies and set up a counterattack. This was demonstrated when he was able to engage Mikey in a prolonged fight and was able to severely injure him.

Curiosities Izana's surname, "Kurokawa", means "black" (黒) (kuro) and "river, stream" (川) (kawa). His favorite motorcycle is the CBR400F. Likes: Seeing his tropical fish. Disliked: Manjiro Sano. Shion is a man of above average height. He has long blonde hair combed to the right while the left side of his head is shaved, revealing his lion tattoo that extends to his neck. He has a small scar stitched under the left side of his lip. He has two piercings in both of his ears. Shion is a cruel and bloodthirsty delinquent. His brutality frightens even his gang members. His love of fighting earned him the nickname "Mad Dog" within Tenjiku. He takes pride in his strength and is extremely arrogant as a result. His face contorts into a wide grin when he is excited. Madarame is both rude and boastful, with nothing to show for it, along with his lack of respect or decency. Authority: Shion has held authority as the leader of the ninth generation of Black Dragons and as one of the main quartets of Tenjiku, giving him great influence over large groups of criminals.

Fighting Skill: Despite his boasting and criminal career, Shion has pathetic fighting ability in comparison. In the past, he and his team were easily defeated by the newly formed Tokyo Manji Gang.

Ran is a tall, thin young man. His long hair is black and blonde and he wears it in two braids. His eyebrows are also blonde and his eyes are a piercing violet color. He has a tattoo on the left side of his back and on the left front. In his first appearance, he is dressed in a basic, loose-fitting gray t-shirt and black pants.

During his time as a member of Tenjiku, he wore a black version of the gang's uniform with his brother, the uniform had white trim on the collar and skulls on the front, as well as a white line down the middle of the coat, along with a light-colored belt and gloves. Personality Ran often displays a calm yet capricious demeanor with a lazy smile on his face, and can also be quite the joker at times. He and his brother tend to steal the spotlight in any business they're involved in.

He is a ruthless and very violent fighter, during fights he usually resorts to tactics that include the use of weapons, such as; we have seen him use his metal staff or bricks to mercilessly beat his opponent. He is also not afraid to kill and has a lot of confidence in his fighting skills, so much so that he becomes arrogant saying that neither he nor his brother need a team and that they alone can rule Roppongi. He likes to mock his opponents and speak with false sympathy when he asks them for "forgiveness".

Although he is a very violent person, Ran cares a lot for his little brother, as he was seen extremely worried and furious after witnessing Rindo being beaten by Angry. Ran supports his brother and often encourages him during their fights together.

Despite being a delinquent known for his fighting skills, Ran respects and is said to admire both Izana Kurokawa and Kakucho Hitto, even wanting to stay with them after their fight against Toman, even though it meant he could be arrested. Currently he and Kakucho are together in Rokuhara Tandai.

Skills Influence Ran along with her brother have a significant influence in the criminal world, especially in the Roppongi district. According to Chifuyu, the brothers were able to instantly summon a hundred men with a single shout. They also increased their influence over criminals when Ran became one of the Four Heavenly Kings and Rindo was a top executive at Tenjiku.

Force It is known that Ran along with his brother Rindo are one of the strongest criminals in the series. They made this clear when they were only thirteen years old. Curiosities The name Ran means "orchid" (蘭). Ran's surname, Haitani, means "valley of ashes", (灰) (hai) "ash" and (谷) (tani) "valley". Rindo is a young man of average height and muscular build. He has short, blond hair with light blue highlights and a mullet style. His eyebrows are also blond and his piercing eyes are violet. He also has a large tattoo on the right side of his body that extends to his arm, waist and leg. In his first appearance, he wears a black turtleneck shirt with black pants and glasses.

While in Tenjiku, he wears a black version of the gang's uniform in tandem with his brother, the uniform features white trim on the collar and skulls on the front, as well as a white line down the middle of the coat, along with a light-colored belt and gloves. Personality Rindo possesses a very sadistic nature, as he often gloats in joy upon hearing his opponent's painful screams as his limbs are broken. He is ruthless and shows no mercy to his opponent during fights as he locks their joints and proceeds to continuously break them. Rindo also takes pride in what he and his brother are capable of. He shows a clear dislike for those who like to keep the fun to themselves during fights. Out of the two brothers, Rindo prefers to maintain a more stoic facade compared to his brother's rather playful demeanor. Though he also tends to make snide remarks and display mischievous behavior. As he is the youngest, he is not pleased with how others perceive him as the weaker brother. Rindo is also very blunt and arrogant. He is very confident in his strength, which can lead him to make reckless decisions. This has caused him to lose at least one fight.

Skills Force As one of the strongest members of Tenjiku and Rokuhara Tandai, Rindo has proven to be an expert in wrestling, being able to defeat some of Toman's more notable members such as Hakkai Shiba or Angry. Rindo is actually a master of grappling and likes to take his opponents down to the ground where he eventually finishes them off. His signature wrestling tactic is breaking his opponents' joints.

Curiosities The name Rindo means "gentian, bellflower" (竜胆). Rindo's surname, Haitani, means "valley of ashes", (灰) (hai) "ash" and (谷) (tani) "valley". He likes: Being a DJ and muscle training. While I was with him, I was prepared to get killed. I will never train with him again. Bad memories: I drank with about 10 people in my living room and my elder brother got up at 4pm. My brother's mood was really bad so I ran to hide in the bathroom and after that when I came back I saw everyone sitting up straight and they were only in their underwear. Well I will go and buy my Brother's favorite Mont Blanc.

Mochi is very tall and burly, towering over his fellow Tenjiku members. He wears a black shirt beneath his red Tenjiku uniform. His dark hair is styled into a rat-tail mohawk, with a braid extending to the bottom of his neck. His angular eyebrows contribute to his menacing physiognomy.

Personality Kanji is gruff and belligerent, always ready to join a fight. However, he holds honor in high regard, which is shown in his insistence that opponents fight one-on-one and his disdain for underhanded fighting tactics. He becomes excited when he meets a strong opponent.

Curiosities The name Kanji means "complete" (完爾). The Kanji surname Mochizuki means "wish, longing, hope" (望) (mochi) and "moon" (月) (tsuki/zuki), literally meaning "full moon" together.

Sanzu is a young man with long, straight hair which is pink (although in the anime his hair color is white), his blue eyes are slightly drooping and he has long eyelashes.

Personality As a teenager, Haruchiyo appeared to have a quiet demeanor and rarely spoke. He was extremely loyal to his superiors and much kinder to those he followed and doted on. However, he is later revealed to be extremely manipulative and is exceptionally good at tricking other people, an example of this being when he tricked Muto into being an "only child"; it is later revealed that he has a brother and a sister.

In his youth, before meeting Yasuhiro Muto, he was described as a very troubled boy who could not be controlled, which made it very difficult for other divisions of the gang to handle him, so Mikey left him in the care of Muto, since he believed that he could control him.

As an adult, Haruchiyo appears to be more outgoing, flamboyant, direct, and loud. He is ruthless and displays psychopathic tendencies. He has also been seen taking drugs, which could be the main reason for his change in behavior, although there is a possibility that this is his "true" personality that was triggered by the drugs he took.

One of Haruchiyo's most notable traits is his great idolization of Mikey, believing him to be his "king" (similar to the King of Chess), and therefore deserving of the utmost respect, loyalty, and devotion. He will follow his "king's" orders no matter what they are and will put Mikey above all others, mercilessly killing anyone who thinks of betraying him. A good example of the latter would be the case of Muto, whom he approached after he was released from detention with the sole purpose of tricking him into following him to a secluded location so he could kill him for betraying Toman, and thus his "king", in the past.

Skills Fighting Skill Haruchiyo was strong enough to be named vice-captain of Tokyo Manji and number 2 of Bonten. He has also been seen using weapons; a pistol and a katana. He seems to be very skilled when it comes to using his katana as he was able to kill Muto with a single blow, indicating that he may have been training with it for some time.

He is also good at fighting barehanded, being a bit of a savage, as seen in the Valhalla Arc when he repeatedly and relentlessly beats up a member of said gang.

Handling Haruchiyo may seem like a calm and reliable person, but he is actually very manipulative. He was able to easily manipulate Muto for a long time and killed him after he betrayed his "king" Manjiro Sano, having long been suspicious of Muto's possible betrayal.

Curiosities The name Haruchiyo means "spring" (春) (haru) and "a thousand generations/worlds" (千夜) (chiyo) The surname Akashi (alias) means "brilliant" (明) and "presiding" (司) (shi) The mask he is often seen wearing was given to him by Yasuhiro Muto to cover his scars. I stopped using said mask after killing .muto

Sanzu: Baji, are you really going to leave Toman? Baji: Yes Sanzu: Oh, I see... I'm going to miss you, but I have one last question. Baji: I can't tell you anything about Valhalla. Sanzu: What kind of treatment do you use? Baji: Huh? Sanzu: I've been thinking about it for a long time, but your hair always looks good. Baji: You're as weird as ever....It's just soap Sanzu: I see, thanks Baji. After that Sanzu tried to wash his hair with soap, his hair became a mess.

Mucho was a tall young man with a large, muscular body structure. His eyes were turquoise (although in the anime they are more of a brown color) and his blonde hair was styled in a prominent cut with the sides completely shaved. He normally wore the Tokyo Manji uniform, but stopped wearing it when he left the gang and joined Tenjiku, wearing his new gang's uniform ever since. Personality Mucho was a calm and collected man, an extremely unusual trait among criminals. He did not tend to show his emotions, keeping his face with a neutral expression most of the time, yet he was clearly remorseful for betraying Toman. Before leaving Tokyo Manji, he apparently had compassion for its members and claimed to greatly despise the gang's internal struggles. Skills Authority As the captain of Toman's fifth division, Mucho had power over his division. Mikey himself gave him the special role of interrogating potential traitors of the gang without the express permission of the gang leaders. After becoming an executive in Tenjiku, Mucho had a decent amount of authority over the criminals who were part of said gang.

Fighting Skill Mucho had great physical strength, which allowed him to easily lift other criminals over his head or throw them away during fights. Due to his great fighting skills, he was recognized as the leader of the fifth division, which was considered the strongest in Toman and was also given a special role (solving internal conflicts and punishing traitors) along with the rest of his division. In addition, Mucho also had knowledge of judo which complemented his muscular build and impressive strength, his throws being destructive enough to break the spines of his opponents.

Curiosities The name Yasuhiro means "peaceful, calm, peace, serene, Thailand" (泰) (yasu) and "wide, large" (宏) (hiro). The surname Yasuhiro, Muto means "military, martial" (武) (mu) and "wisteria" (藤) (to). According to the official character book:

The situation was so awkward that I asked him "What's wrong?" and Sanzu said "I hate cheese, but I'll try" and there was no conversation after that. It's hard to open people's hearts. A lot: It's very difficult to get close to Sanzu, but thanks to my efforts he became fond of the Cheesecake from my favorite store Cozy Corner. Daily Activity: I went to visit the Kawata brothers' house. Smiley's room is full of mysterious surfboards and dusty keyboards. According to Angry, what Smiley really likes are plastic models and comics, but he hides it.

Koko is a boy with a slim build and relatively tall stature. He has black hair styled in a "deathhawk" style, with the left side of his head shaved and his hair kept long on the right side. He has piercing black eyes, the shape of his face makes him look like he is always angry, his high arched eyebrows reinforce this effect. He wears a long gold earring on his left ear and usually dresses in rather striking clothes.

Personality Koko acts solely in his own interests, most of the moves he makes are for his own benefit. He approaches people more powerful than him with the intention of using them, but he will turn his back on them if they don't offer him what he wants. Although Koko is not really a very physically gifted person, his intelligence makes up for it.

He has excellent skills in making money, both legally and illegally, and has obtained most of his financial knowledge through reading many books and searching the internet. He has a great obsession with money, getting more money than he really needs; this inclination towards monetary gain has its roots in desperation.

In the past, Akane, the girl he liked, fell into a coma due to a fire, which left her with severe burns and injuries on her body, making it impossible for her family to afford the high price of the treatment she needed to survive. As a result, Koko investigated all possible ways to acquire money, even logically discerning that, as a child, the only way he could get large amounts of money quickly was through illegal activities. Koko, absorbed in the goal of obtaining money, slowly forgot what his original goal was.

Skills Influence He held one of the highest positions in the tenth generation of the Black Dragon being the captain of the Elite Guard, meaning he had control and could order the other members of the gang in Taiju's absence. In addition to being loved as a member of other gangs thanks to his ability to make money.

Financial Skill Koko has unparalleled financial ability. From a young age, he researched multiple ways to make money by reading books, learning both legal and illegal methods in the process. As a result, he was able to pull off complex criminal schemes that involved stealing and investing said money in criminals so that they would steal and engage in criminal activities in his place, which would in turn generate greater profits for him.

Fighting Skill In addition to his economic skills, he has also proven to be a capable fighter, being able to fight on par with Inupi.

Curiosities The name Hajime means "one" (一). Hajime's surname, Kokonoi, means "nine" (九) (kokono) and "well, mineshaft, pit" (井) (i). His special skills are standing behind others (he doesn't like being in front) and being a big eater. His hobby is playing cards (Inupi doesn't trust him). He loves to swim. He doesn't like ball games because he has poor eyesight. He doesn't like riding a motorcycle. Likes: Gemstone Totem. Steve Jobs is the person he admires. He doesn't like people he can't control (example: Takemichi Hanagaki) His dream is to become a winner. His favorite place is the library. He kissed Inupi while thinking about Akane near a window. She has a character song called Stray Tabby about the kiss moment and about the fire.

Kisaki is a young man of average height. He has blue eyes and dyed blond hair. He also wears gold-framed glasses and a gold-colored piercing in his left ear.

Kisaki's number one drive in life is his obsessive love for Hinata Tachinaba developed during his childhood. Seeing how Hinata was attracted to Takemichi he spied on the latter, discovering that his greatest dream was to become Japan's number one criminal, and thus he took over the dream of "his rival" coming to the natural conclusion that by becoming Japan's top criminal, Hinata would notice him, thus earning her love.

Fully aware of his physical limitations compared to other criminals, Kisaki resorted to more subtle means to achieve his goal, controlling everything from the background, manipulating anyone he could, instigating conflicts and sometimes even murdering, while at the same time using every possible opportunity to gain the trust of those he deemed useful, investigating down to the smallest detail and with razor-sharp precision to put his plans into motion. Incredibly patient and with a strong tolerance for frustration, he did not mind waiting several years before the full scope of his plans was realized and showed incredible persistence when some of his schemes failed.

Ultimately, his compulsion to win Hinata's affections was not rooted in genuine love, but in selfishness, obsession, and possessiveness. This is made more evident by the fact that he ends up killing her after being rejected in each of the timelines, being unable to accept the fact that Hinata has no feelings for him and not being able to get used to seeing her be happy with another man.

Although that all changes in the final alternate timeline where Takemichi befriends him and introduces him to his friends at Tokyo Manji, also being a founding member.

Personality Resourceful, cautious, and inhuman are the words that best describe Tetta Kisaki, who will not rest until his wishes are fulfilled. Although he is not a very strong criminal, his power to rule with fear makes even those stronger than him obey him. The entirety of his actions throughout the story revolve around becoming the most powerful and influential criminal in Tokyo, attempting to manipulate Mikey in every way possible.

Kisaki cares nothing for his subordinates or superiors, seeing them all as puppets he can manipulate to achieve his goals. He is selfishly willing to frame others or even make them sacrifice their lives to escape the law or further his plans. Thanks to his charisma and intelligence, he is able to find many criminals willing to do his bidding (even if they are sometimes physically stronger and more powerful than him). And he is feared by many people due to his great gifts for manipulation.

As a child, he was very shy and insecure. His lack of social interaction during childhood caused him to develop an inferiority complex and makes him the ruthless individual seen throughout the story. It is also likely the reason why he only sees others as tools for his use. Authority Kisaki has held high positions in multiple gangs to further his plans, such as Toman, Moebius, Valhalla, and Tenjiku.

Fighting Skill Although far from the strongest delinquent, Kisaki has above-average combat ability. He is able to hold his own and defeat average delinquents.

Intelligence What makes Kisaki an incredibly dangerous individual, (if not the most dangerous), is his high intelligence. Kisaki has shown that he can be an extraordinary intellectual throughout the story, being able to foil Takemichi's plans multiple times despite the latter being able to travel through time. He has been able to cleverly manipulate countless powerful criminals into doing his bidding and serving as a stepping stone for him. If it weren't for Takemichi's supernatural ability, Kisaki would have risen to the top of Toman with ease, which he did in the second timeline.

Curiosities The name Tetta means "iron" (鉄) (tet) and "thick, dense, large" (太) (ta). Tetta's surname, Kisaki, means "rare, uncommon, unusual, phenomenal, dilute (acid)" (稀) (ki) and "flower, blossom" (咲) (saki). According to the official character book:

Hanma is a tall, thin young man. His eyes are yellow and his hair is dark with a blonde stripe down the middle; the sides of his head are shaved and the top is long. On his left ear he wears a long, golden earring. What stands out the most are his two characteristic tattoos: “crime” on his left hand and “punishment” on his right. He can usually be seen wearing the uniforms of his current gangs. However, in his first appearance he wears a white button-down shirt with black skinny jeans and sandals. He also carries a lit cigarette.

As an adult, he still has his earring in his ear and his hair color is still the same, only it is longer and messier than before. He also wears a light-colored striped suit, along with a yellow and white striped tie, and round glasses.

In the current arc, he has a much more unkempt appearance. His hair is even longer than in his other versions, covering one of his eyes. He wears an oversized hoodie with almost no skin showing (since Hanma is a fugitive in this instance). Personality Hanma is generally an annoying and unmotivated person, he only finds excitement when fighting and his only purpose in life is to find adrenaline, so he usually resorts to street violence to relieve his boredom. However, little by little he realizes his capabilities even winning a fight against ten people, sinking again into the misery of not being able to have even a shred of excitement when fighting. All that seemed to end when he meets Tetta Kisaki.

He decides to join Kisaki as his pawn since he claims that he "gives off a different aura than the others" and over time, he became his partner and his faithful right-hand man. Hanma declared to him that when he is with him, he sees the world in colors and that he feels like he is in a circus.

As long as he can entertain himself, he cares little about the consequences or collateral damage his actions cause. This mentality even extends to himself, as he has very little regard for the value of his own life.

So when his brilliant friend dies, he once again loses all purpose in life and falls into a visible depression. He becomes cold and unmotivated, even more so than before he met him. He continued smoking and wandering from one place to another, probably looking for something that would motivate him and make him happy again. Skills Authority Hanma was an important position in large gangs such as Tokyo Manji, Moebius or Valhalla, and being Kisaki's right-hand man, he gained a lot of authority over the others.

Endurance Hanma's stamina is something to be noted, as he was able to stop a kick from Mikey with his arm and still remain standing. He was also able to withstand Draken's punches on several occasions (for this reason Draken called him a zombie) and fight ten people at once. Hanma likes to make the most of his stamina by always being in the eye of the storm, surrounded by several people, when there is a fight between two gangs.

Stature Hanma is well above average in height, his 192 cm height gives him a clear advantage when fighting against his opponents. Not only does this give him greater distance but it also leaves few openings on his face, which is why he was able to stop a kick from Mikey in their first fight.
