Enjin was on the ground; this time, the blood that was falling was his own and not that of one of his companions.
As one of the strongest Cleaners, it wasn't very common to find him bleeding, or rather, injured, on a mission. Maybe minor cuts, but not serious or severe wounds.

You were the only one still standing. You had a little blood running from the corners of your lips, cuts all over your body, you occasionally coughed up a little blood... and you were still standing.
You saw Enjin bleeding and with his vision somewhat blurred, but you were up against a Raider.
Would the Raider stop and give you time to see it? No.
You had to kill that Raider, it was an order, but more than an order, you had to do it for him.
The reinforcements (like Gris, Follo, and so on...) hadn't arrived yet and you had to keep going, no matter what.

As a Cleaner, everyone knew your condition: you couldn't feel emotions. Your gaze was always neutral, almost empty. Even when Gris nearly died in the Raider incident, you just watched him without saying a word. It seemed like indifference, but you couldn't feel anything for him even if you wanted to...

When you finished with the Raider, you went to see Enjin and... he had no pulse.
Well, I had it, but it was very faint. You still had to wait for the others, and then, in a second, it appeared. You had your first emotion. You felt a strange emotion for someone like you: unease.
You felt uneasy because you didn't know what to do; blood was dripping and Enjin was unconscious. What would you do...?

For a moment, your eyes opened wide, your thoughts were the same:

"What if he dies? What if Enjin dies? It will be my fault. "

It was the only thing that existed in your mind.
After quite some time, the others arrived. They all had different expressions, but it didn't matter; what mattered now was Enjin.
