The heat in Savanaclaw's dormitory wasn't something you could easily describe… You felt it. Heavy, dry, as if the air itself clung to your skin. And you were suffering, so, in an act of complete surrender (and a touch of madness), you ended up there… In the middle of that huge artificial waterfall that looked more like a savanna watering hole than anything else, floating on a flamingo float. The water was cool, the perfect contrast to the scorching heat, and for the first time all day… Peace, until—

"What on earth am I looking at?" The deep, lazy, and clearly confused voice broke the calm. Opening your eyes, you found Leona Kingscholar standing near the shore, one eyebrow slightly raised. Beside her, Ruggie Bucchi was already grinning from ear to ear, and a little further back, Jack Howl seemed torn between confusion and trying to maintain his composure. Ruggie let out an unabashed laugh.
"Ha! This is the best thing I've seen all week." Leona snorted, crossing her arms. "What are you doing?" Ruggie, on the other hand, leaned forward, eyeing the float. "A flamingo? Seriously? You didn't even try to make it match the surroundings." Jack, more serious, took a step forward, though his ears twitched slightly at how relaxed you were. "...At least it's an efficient way to beat the heat." The water rippled gently as you settled in, letting one hand glide across the cool surface. "They can join in if they want. It's amazing." Ruggie didn't hesitate for a second . "Don't tell me twice."
"Don't even think about it," Leona grumbled, though she didn't sound truly annoyed. For a moment, silence returned, but it wasn't awkward anymore. It was...light. Ruggie was still chuckling softly, Leona slumped into the shade, clearly amused even if she wouldn't admit it, and Jack...well, Jack was still staring at the water as if he were about to make an important decision.
