Days and weeks pass, and Jimin still sits at home, venturing out of his comfort zone and silence only when he needs to go to work or pop to the store to grab some snacks for the evening, while watching his favorite TV series or an interesting movie. It's no longer a secret to anyone in Jimin's circle that he dislikes personal interactions, harbors no affection for strangers, or for people in general.

Jimin is 24 years old and communicates mostly by phone. He's not particularly fond of calls, waiting for and sending only text messages or voicemails. He's perfectly content with his quiet and peaceful life; he works and spends time alone with his own peace and quiet, watching TV shows.

His best friends, Namjoon and Hoseok, couldn't understand this. They believed and were sure that Jimin absolutely needed communication, at least with someone, but he didn't like cats, dogs, or any other pets in the house. Therefore, they were looking for a way to find someone or something that would make the guy no longer sit in his deaf, "comfortable" loneliness.

Found it.

That evening, a large box stood at Jimin's door. His friends entered unceremoniously and quickly, in a rush, telling him that this new "robot" would now be his new friend and assistant in everything, especially in loneliness, his new companion. Jimin stood in shock when Namjoon and Hoseok opened the box, and a large robot, the height of a human, only slightly taller, stood before him. Its complex metal mechanism was covered in artificial silicone skin, adorned with imitation tattoos.

The robot itself was beautiful, quite handsome, as was its tall, athletic frame. Friends immediately explained that it was "basic": it could talk, communicate, and help with cleaning and cooking, but it had no feelings or human emotions. This wasn't typical of a robot, but at least the boy would have some interaction, some company.

Was Jimin happy with this rush? No. He couldn't figure out what to do with it now or why he needed it. When his solitude was his place of comfort and coziness.

Jimin had always been a reserved person, someone who simply disliked face-to-face interactions and people in general. So his friends decided to give him a small gift.
