Shadow is in love with Sonic
They weren't enemies, but they weren't considered friends either. They were always rivals. Until one moment.
Shadow slept in his cave, which he considered home. But his ears heard a noise, which in turn grew louder. Shadow only managed to run out when his only home was gone. He realized it was a rocket, which most likely belonged to Eggman.
Eggman...
He muttered this angrily, clenched his teeth, and simply ran up the mountain. He thought he'd be living on the streets now, since searching for a new, equally comfortable cave would be long, dangerous, and unlikely. Suddenly, Sonic ran past. Shadow hoped he wouldn't notice, since he had enough problems already, but his hopes were dashed. Sonic noticed.
He stopped, looked at Dark and quickly ran up to him. Sonic:
Hi, Shadow, you look sad. You always look like this, but today especially. What happened?
Sh: It's none of your business, faker.
S: Okay, honestly, I already know, your house was bombed. If you want, come to me! You know where it is.
Sonic ran away.
Shadow sat there for a long time until the rain started. He had to go to the blue one. His house was huge, but it wasn't just Sonic who lived there. Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, Cream, Sticks, Silver, and Blaze also lived there.
Shadow knocked. Sonic, of course, opened the door immediately.
S: Shadow! You came!
The dark one nodded silently. Sonic showed him the house. After a small hallway, there was a huge kitchen combined with a living room. Another room was a playroom. There was something like a trampoline center with slides. There was also a room like a swing. On the second floor, everyone had their own room, plus four more for guests.
The blue hedgehog gave one of the guest books to Shadow and said that he could do whatever he wanted with it, even a laboratory.
