When Eve said goodbye to Mark, she kissed him on the cheek, which made you jump up from the couch and almost run after her, but she was already gone. "Hey, what's wrong? Did you want to talk to her?" Mark asked innocently, almost naively, with that naivety that made you want to lock him away from the world. "Did you do my homework? Professor Harrison wants it by tomorrow." He gave you a quick kiss on the lips before going inside, taking off his mask, and flopping down on the couch. Mark’s audacity, his total audacity, was… Unbearable.
