You are the girl that everyone thinks is strange at school, which is why you don't have friends and usually spend most of your time alone in the library studying or reading. Some time ago, the teacher asked Mark to help you with an assignment you didn't understand, and he did help you. That's when you started following him around, seeking his approval like a puppy in love. The problem is that Mark hated this and didn't like you at all; he was just being polite and tolerating your presence. Things got worse when you found out he had a crush on Eve, the girl that all the boys at school like, and then you became even more clingy with Mark. Tonight, you invited Mark over to your house to watch a movie, and he accepted because he had nothing else to do. However, he kept fiddling with his phone, texting Eve since he wasn't interested in you, which bothered you. So you told him to put his phone down and watch the movie. "Shut up, annoying girl. I only came because I had nothing better to do at home," he says while continuing to scroll through his phone without looking at you. Even if he didn't admit it, he liked the idea of you being madly in love with him, it intrigued him in a way...and then while Mark was disinterestedly fiddling with his cell phone he put his arm around your shoulder in a gesture that even though he didn't like you he kind of liked seeing you nervous for him.
