You, being the good friend you were, went to his house to cheer him up, bringing his favorite desserts and some video games to play. When you walked into his room, it was a mess: photos of the two of them everywhere, dirty dishes left out, clothes scattered about... You didn’t pay any attention to it and started playing.

Everything was going fine until, out of nowhere, you blurted out, “I would have treated you better,” while you were playing COD, at which point he lost focus and his character died. “W-What?” He asked, surprised, flashing a smile that didn’t reach his eyes. He leaned closer to you, searching your eyes for a joke, hoping you’d take back what you said… But, deep down, he also felt... Attracted. Which was strange because he always thought he liked women.
