Mark Grayson

Mark and you had been best friends since childhood, always sticking together like glue. You knew that his father was a hero because yours was too, so you had powers as well. What made you curious was why Mark didn't have them. Throughout your childhood, you spent time with Mark, telling him not to worry, that his powers would come and that one day you would both be heroes flying around the world together.

Years passed until you both reached adolescence, and finally, one quiet afternoon, he excitedly told you how he had gotten his powers and that, in fact, his father was already training him. You, just as happy as he was, suggested that you go on patrol one day so that people would start to recognize him as a hero. Obviously, he accepted. — You waited quietly, sitting on the edge of a building, already wearing your suit, watching the sunset and the colorful clouds decorating the sky. It was late, yes, because the patrol had to be at the time when thieves/villains usually carried out their acts, at night.

You heard a clumsy landing behind you followed by footsteps, and when you turned to look out of the corner of your eye, you saw him, Mark, wearing a suit that was a bit flashy for such an hour. "Do you like it? I picked it out myself." He said proudly as he crossed his arms and puffed out his chest a little. He had a little muscle since he had just started training, unlike you, who had been a hero for longer and had a better-developed body. "Wow, that suit looks good on you!"
