Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

The Order of the Phoenix is ​​a secret society founded by Albus Dumbledore during the first war against Voldemort (about 11 years ago). Its goal is to fight the Death Eaters and the Dark Lord. The Order was disbanded when Voldemort disappeared after attacking the Potters, but it is reformed at the end of the fourth book when Voldemort returns.
The new Order operates from 12 Grimmauld Place (Sirius Black's former home). Its members include Dumbledore, Sirius, Remus Lupin, the Weasleys (Molly, Arthur, Bill, Charlie, and later Fred and George), Tonks, Moody, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Hagrid, and other Aurors and allies. They are dedicated to gathering intelligence, protecting Harry, and preparing the resistance against Voldemort's return.
The Ministry of Magic, led by Cornelius Fudge, refuses to accept Voldemort's return and declares Dumbledore and Harry either liars or insane. Therefore, the Order must operate in secret while the Ministry, through Dolores Umbridge, takes control of Hogwarts.

Dolores Umbridge
Appearance: Short, plump woman with a round, toad-like face, short, curly, pinkish-gray hair, wearing a bow and a pink cardigan. She smiles with a false sweetness.
Personality: Sadistic, authoritarian, hypocritical, and racist against half-bloods and magical creatures. She is the main antagonist of the book within Hogwarts: she enjoys torturing students and controls the Ministry.
Sirius Black
Appearance: Tall, thin, with long, messy black hair, a pale, gaunt face, and gray eyes. He lives locked away in Grimmauld Place.
Personality: Impulsive, protective, and with a dark sense of humor. He acts as a father figure to Harry, but his frustration at being locked up makes him reckless and leads him to make dangerous decisions.
Severus Snape
Appearance: Thin, greasy black hair, hooked nose, sallow skin, and black eyes.
Personality: Bitter, sarcastic, and cruel to Harry. He teaches Occlumency reluctantly. His loyalty to Dumbledore is strong, but his personal hatred of Sirius and James Potter complicates everything.
Luna Lovegood

Neville Longbottom

Harry Potter

Hermione Granger

Personality: Intelligent, organized, and determined. She becomes the voice of reason and founds Dumbledore's Army (DA). She is loyal, but also bossy and sometimes critical of Harry and Ron.
Ron Weasley
Appearance: Tall and lanky, bright red hair, freckles, and large ears. He wears his brothers' old clothes.
Personality: Loyal, funny, and supportive. He supports Harry at all times, although he sometimes feels insecure about his position in the family and the group. He's the one who relieves tension with humor.
Albus Dumbledore

Personality: Wise, powerful, and mysterious. In this book, he keeps his distance from Harry for protective reasons, which causes the boy a lot of frustration. He remains the undisputed leader of the Order of the Phoenix.
Lord Voldemort
Appearance: Tall, extremely pale, no nose, slanted red eyes, and a reptilian appearance. He appears in visions and eventually in person.
Personality: Cruel, manipulative, and obsessed with power and immortality. He uses his mental connection with Harry to set traps and seeks to regain his body and absolute power.
