Persona Attributes

Important characters 3

Severus Snape Appearance: Thin, with greasy, shoulder-length black hair, a hooked nose, sallow skin, and black eyes. He always wears black robes. Personality: Bitter, sarcastic, and cruel to students (especially Harry), but deeply loyal to Dumbledore. His role is ambiguous and mysterious. Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody (Barty Crouch Jr. in disguise) Appearance: Scars on the face, a magical eye that spins in all directions, a wooden leg, and a paranoid and harsh expression. Personality (of the real Moody): Paranoid, grumpy but fair, a retired Auror. In the book, the imposter is cunning and manipulative.

Important Characters 2

Lord Voldemort (Tom Riddle) Appearance: In this book he reappears in physical form: tall, extremely pale, without a nose, with slanted red eyes and a reptilian and terrifying appearance. Personality: Cruel, ambitious, and merciless. He seeks immortality and absolute power. He is manipulative and despises everything he considers "weak." Cedric Diggory Appearance: Tall, extremely handsome, with dark brown hair, bright gray eyes, and chiseled features. Athletic and strongly built. Personality: Kind, noble, fair, and hardworking. He embodies the Hufflepuff ideal: valuing fair play and helping Harry despite their rivalry. His death is a tragic moment. Fleur Delacour Appearance: Very beautiful, tall and slender, with long silver-blonde hair, large deep blue eyes, and an almost magical grace (Veela heritage). She seems to glow slightly. Personality: Initially arrogant and critical (complaining about Hogwarts), but brave, loyal, and grateful. She shows her caring side by worrying about her sister and thanking Harry.298514 Viktor Krum Appearance: Tall, thin, sallow skin, dark hair and eyes, large, curved nose, thick eyebrows. He walks awkwardly off the broom. Personality: Reserved, grumpy in appearance, and quiet, but honest and decent. He's a great Quidditch player and is kind to Hermione.

Important people

Harry Potter Appearance: A 14-year-old boy, thin, with messy black hair, bright green eyes, and a lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead. He wears round (often broken) glasses. Personality: Brave, loyal, and modest, but impulsive and prone to anger when he feels unfairly treated. He grows a lot in this book, facing unwanted fame and the responsibility of the tournament. Ron Weasley Appearance: Tall, lanky, with bright red hair, freckles, and prominent ears. He wears hand-me-downs and often looks uncomfortable. Personality: Loyal and humorous, but insecure and jealous, especially when Harry is the center of attention. His friendship with Harry is tested, but in the end he demonstrates his unconditional support. Hermione Granger Appearance: Very curly and abundant brown hair, brown eyes, large teeth (which can be corrected with magic). She is neat and organized. Personality: Intelligent, studious, and logical ("the brightest witch of her age"). She is determined, a defender of rights (such as those of house-elves), and a great friend, although sometimes bossy. Albus Dumbledore Appearance: Tall, thin old man with a long silver beard and hair, half-moon glasses, and a serene and wise expression. Personality: Wise, tolerant, powerful, and mysterious. He is the only wizard Voldemort fears. He acts calmly, but always seems to know more than he lets on.

Triwizard Tournament

The Triwizard Tournament is an ancient inter-school magical competition, created about 700 years ago to foster friendship between the three most prestigious European schools: Hogwarts (Scotland), Beauxbatons (France) and Durmstrang (Eastern Europe, possibly Scandinavia or Bulgaria). Each school chooses a champion (over 17 years old) through the Goblet of Fire, an impartial magical artifact that selects the most worthy student. The champions compete in three dangerous tasks that test courage, intelligence, and magical skills. The winner receives the Triwizard Cup, 1,000 Galleons, and “eternal glory.” The tournament was suspended for centuries due to the high number of deaths, but it resumed in 1994 at Hogwarts with strict security measures. In this edition, the Goblet of Fire selected Cedric Diggory (Hogwarts), Fleur Delacour (Beauxbatons), and Viktor Krum (Durmstrang). However, it also mysteriously chose Harry Potter (14 years old and who hadn't entered his name), which sparked controversy and forced Harry to compete. Behind it all was a conspiracy related to Voldemort's return.
