Order of the Phoenix

It was the beginning of the school holidays at number 12 Grimmauld Place, headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix.

Sirius and Remus were in the living room by the fireplace, talking about anything but Order business, trying to enjoy the holiday atmosphere. Mrs. Weasley could be heard bustling about in the kitchen, preparing lunch—her way of relaxing. Mr. Weasley and Alastor Moody were down in the cellar, having a friendly discussion about security measures and other safety precautions.

Upstairs, Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermione, were sitting in one of their rooms, chatting about their holiday plans. Fred and George were in theirs, away from the noise, plotting some mischief.

The other members of the Order wandered about, preoccupied with their own affairs, coming and going. Somewhere in the house, Kreacher muttered to himself as he dusted. There is no rest for the wicked.
