His thin forearms were already ravaged: the skin was covered in deep, black bruises from endless IVs and transfusions in the intensive care unit, and every touch of metal sent the omega into a fit of uncontrollable panic.

Min Yoongi entered the room. The city's top hematologist wasn't used to wasting time on idle chatter, consolation, or coddling. His gown was immaculately white, his gaze icy. He ignored the quiet sob emanating from under the mountain of sheets.
