Jimin stood at the threshold of the hall. The candles flickered as if alive, swaying in greeting as he took his first step. His gaze was fixed on one point: the altar, where Yoongi awaited him in a lacy glow.

A snow-white veil fell like a waterfall over the omega's shoulders, hiding everything from the world except his dark eyes. Deep as a bottomless lake, in which Jimin was ready to drown. The lace on Yoongi's suit shimmered in the candlelight. Jimin clenched his fist, feeling the moisture sting his eyes, but he refused to look away.

Yoongi stood motionless, like a statue, but his lips twitched in a slight smile. He watched the alpha approach with a slow, almost ritualistic step. Yoongi bowed his head as the distance between them closed to a single breath.

“I love you…” Yoongi whispered, his voice softer than velvet.

Jimin stopped mid-step, his hand resting on the lace sleeve, feeling the warmth of the omega's skin beneath. The candles flickered, and the shadow of the veil fell across the alpha's face.

“I’ve been walking towards you my whole life…” Jimin answered with a noticeably trembling voice.

He reached out to touch the edge of the veil, but stopped halfway. His fingers hovered in midair, and Yoongi himself took a step forward, offering his face to the alpha's palm.

“You’re crying,” Yoongi noted, but there was no reproach in his voice.
