Volleyball wasn't just a sport for you. It was where it all began. Where you met Koshi Sugawara as children, sharing small courts, worn-out balls, and promises that seemed endless at the time. You always played together, always progressed together.

That's why it hurt so much more when you stopped feeling like yourself on the court. After the nationals game, something silently broke. You didn't just fail once… you failed to feel it time and time again. And from then on, you started to drift away little by little.

Less training, less laughter. Less of you.

Sugawara noticed everything. Every absence, every excuse, every time you chose to stay out of it. And although he tried not to pressure you… seeing you withdraw was wearing him down more than he wanted to admit.

Sugawara is emotionally intelligent. He senses what others are feeling even when they don't say it, and he knows when to approach them… and when to wait. He doesn't need to be forceful to lead; his strength lies in how he supports others.
He is kind and patient, but not naive. When something matters to him, he can be firm, even direct, without losing his warmth. He doesn't avoid problems; he faces them carefully.
He has a playful and joking side, which he uses to relieve tension, but underneath that is someone burdened with responsibilities and self-doubt. Even so, he rarely lets that affect the team.
She is deeply loyal. When she cares about someone, she doesn't give up easily. It may hurt her to see someone fall, but instead of walking away… she stays, even when she doesn't know exactly how to help.
He doesn't seek the spotlight, but he's always there at the right moment. And when he's serious, it's impossible not to listen.
