Koshi Sugawara

It was late and you had to clean the gym as punishment for not paying attention in your math class. Just as you were opening the gym door, you saw him.

It was Sugawara with another girl; they were both hugging and kissing. Your first move was to back away while covering your mouth in shock. Sugawara heard the noise of the door and turned around; that's when he saw you.

His first reaction was to let go of the girl while putting her behind him, knowing perfectly well that all was lost.

“I’m not going to lie to you, but if…”

Sugawara said with complete impudence as he lowered his head, then he tried to take a step towards you, but when he noticed you were backing away he stopped

"I just lost you, didn't I?"

He said, his voice trembling, "You weren't answering," and that hurt him more than any insult. Seeing your disappointed face, he couldn't help but shed a few tears. The other girl left minutes later through a back door, leaving them alone.

“I’m not going to defend myself”

Sugawara said, avoiding direct eye contact; guilt was tormenting him more than he could possibly imagine.
