Persona Attributes

Original Story (10/10)

  1. The Awakening of the Hero from Hell and the Final Banquet • Total Control: In his apartment, Denji, devastated by Aki's death, tells Makima, "I want to be your dog," relinquishing his free will. Makima agrees and, to destroy the last thing he has left, has Power knock on the door. In an instant, Makima uses his power ("Bang") and disintegrates Power before Denji's eyes. • The Truth About Chainsaw Man: Makima explains that her target wasn't Denji, but Pochita. She is the Demon of Control and wishes to use Chainsaw Man's power to erase concepts from existence (like hunger or war) and create a "perfect world." After an epic battle where the real Chainsaw Man emerges from Hell, Special Division 5 (the hybrids) tries unsuccessfully to stop him. • Power's Sacrifice: Thanks to a trail of blood he left on Denji, Power is briefly revived. In a final act of friendship, he saves Denji from Makima and makes a new contract: "Find the Blood Demon in Hell and make me Power again." • The Final Strategy: Denji understands that he cannot defeat Makima with hatred, but with "love." In their final confrontation at the cemetery, Denji uses a chainsaw made with Power's blood to wound her, slowing her regeneration. Finally, to circumvent his immortality contract, Denji cooks and eats Makima, assuming that by becoming one with her, the harm is not an "attack," but an act of union.

Original Story (9/10)

  1. The US Contract and the Gun-Aki Demon • America's Desperation: As Makima's plan unfolds, the President of the United States offers every American citizen one year of their life to summon the Gun Demon and kill her. The demon appears on the coast of Japan in a sequence of mass destruction, annihilating entire cities in seconds. • Makima's Control: Makima uses the powers of the deceased demon slayers (such as Tendo and Kurose) and their linked contracts to subdue the Gun Demon. However, the demon's remnants possess Aki Hayakawa's lifeless body, turning him into the Gun Possessed. • The Duel in the Snow: The "Aki-Gun" arrives at Denji's house. In his mind, Aki believes he's having a harmless snowball fight with Denji; in reality, he's firing projectiles that destroy buildings and civilians. Denji, in tears and compelled by people's cries for help, is forced to kill his best friend. • The Encounter at the Store: After burying Aki and being emotionally devastated, Denji encounters Makima outside a convenience store. With eerie calm, she invites him to her home to "comfort" him, marking the beginning of the end of Denji's innocence.

Original Story (8/10)

  1. The Awakening of Santa Claus and the Truth of the Demon Gun • The Battle on Earth: Santa Claus returns from Hell with a fragment of the Demon of Darkness, becoming nearly invincible in the shadows. Denji, in an act of heroic madness, sets himself on fire to illuminate the battlefield and wound her. After a frantic fight, he manages to defeat her, while Quanxi and her girlfriends are mercilessly decapitated by Makima. • Aki's Trauma: After witnessing the deaths of nearly all his comrades and confronting the horrors of Hell, Aki is devastated. His fear is no longer of dying himself, but of Denji and Power dying. He decides to ask Makima to remove them from the mission against the Gun Demon to keep them safe, sacrificing his pride for his newfound "family." • The Big Revelation: Makima takes Aki to a beach and drops a bombshell: The Gun Demon was defeated years ago. She explains that the demon no longer exists as a free entity, but rather its remnants are divided and contained by the governments of major powers (the US, China, etc.) as nuclear deterrents. The mission to "hunt it down" was always a front for Makima's political interests.

Original Story (7/10)

  1. International Assassins and the Terror of Santa Claus • The Worldwide Hunt: After the fight with Reze, Denji's existence becomes public knowledge. World powers send their best assets: Quanxi (China), the Immortal Brothers (USA), and the mysterious Santa Claus (Germany). Makima deploys the Special Division, including Yoshida, to protect Denji. • The Doll Trap: Santa Claus reveals his true power: turning humans into living dolls with a single touch. The city becomes a battlefield filled with murderous "puppets." Meanwhile, Quanxi proves to be an unstoppable force, decapitating friend and foe alike with her superhuman speed. • The Journey to Hell: In the climax, the Demon of Hell is summoned, dragging everyone (Denji, Aki, Quanxi, and the assassins) to Hell itself. There, in front of the floating gates, the Demon of Darkness appears, dismembering almost the entire group in seconds, leaving Denji and the survivors traumatized and on the brink of death.

Original Story (6/10)

  1. The Heart of the Bomb Girl: Reze • The Encounter: Denji meets Reze at a coffee shop on a rainy day. Unlike others, she seems genuinely interested in him, teaching him to swim and sharing school experiences that Denji never had. For a moment, Denji considers leaving Public Safety to run away with her. • The Revelation: Reze is actually a Soviet assassin and the Bomb Hybrid. Her mission is to obtain Chainsaw Man's heart. After an explosive chase across the city, where she uses her own head as a grenade, she faces Denji in an epic sea battle. • The Resolution: Denji manages to defeat her using his intelligence (and water to extinguish the explosions). Despite her betrayal, Denji asks her to meet him at the café so they can run away together. Reze, moved, decides to go, but is intercepted and killed by Makima in an alley before she arrives. Denji is left waiting alone, unaware that she did choose him in the end.

Original Story (5/10)

  1. The Revenge of Division 4 and the Date with Makima • The Counterattack: Following Kishibe's training, the new Special Division 4 (now equipped with sharks, spider demons, and pure violence) raids the Yakuza hideout. Aki faces off against the snake woman, Akane Sawatari. Although the Phantom Demon is used against her, Aki remembers the cigarette Himeno left her ("Easy revenge!") and manages to subdue it, demonstrating her growth. • Denji vs. Katana Man: Denji and Katana Man have a brutal duel on the roof of a train. Denji uses his ingenuity: he hides a chainsaw in his leg to cut his rival in half when he thinks victory is assured. After capturing him, Denji and Aki perform the "Kick Tournament" on their groins as a tribute to Himeno. • The Reward: True to her word, Makima invites Denji on a movie date. They spend the entire day watching films; Denji feels out of place until they reach a scene that makes them both cry. At that moment, Denji feels he has finally made a real human connection. In the end, Makima lets Denji touch her ear and asks, "Do you think I have a heart?", solidifying her emotional control over him.

Original Story (4/10)

  1. Katana Man's Assault and Survival Training • The Ambush: In a coordinated attack across Japan, the hunters of Division 4 are ambushed in the streets. Himeno sacrifices herself completely, surrendering her entire body to the Phantom Demon to save Aki from Katana Man and Akane Sawatari. Despite her efforts, Katana Man defeats Denji and nearly takes him away. • The Master: After the massacre, with the division decimated, Makima introduces Kishibe as Denji and Power's new tutor. The training is hell: Kishibe kills and resurrects them dozens of times a day to teach them to think like hunters, not prey. • The Evolution: Denji and Power learn to use traps and strategies instead of just brute force. Meanwhile, Aki makes a new contract with the Demon of the Future, who allows her to see a few seconds into the future in exchange for living in his right eye, warning her that her death will be "the worst of all."

Original Story (3/10)

  1. The Demon of Eternity and Makima's Promise • The Confinement: Division 4 is trapped on the eighth floor of a hotel by the Demon of Eternity. Time stops and space warps, preventing their escape. Desperation grows, and Kobeni tries to kill Denji to save himself, as the demon only wants Chainsaw Man's heart. • Denji's Sacrifice: Denji throws himself into the demon's mouth and fights for three days straight, feeding on its blood to regenerate while tearing it apart. The pain is so unbearable that the Demon of Eternity chooses to commit suicide by offering its core. • The Promise: After the victory, the group celebrates with a dinner where Denji receives his first kiss (with a disgusting result courtesy of Himeno). Shortly after, Makima makes him an irresistible offer: if he manages to kill the Gun Demon, she will grant him any wish he asks for. This becomes Denji's only real motivation to keep fighting.

Original Story (2/10)

  1. Division 4: Getting to Know Aki and Power • The Conflict: Makima assigns Denji to the tutelage of Aki Hayakawa, a serious and disciplined demon slayer who despises demons. After a fight in an alley, Aki tries to get Denji to quit, but he remains steadfast because of his desire for good food and to be near Makima. • The Partner: Shortly after, Power, the Blood Demon (Possessed), is introduced. She is chaotic, a liar, and hates humans, but Makima forces them to work together. • Power's Betrayal: To rescue his cat (Nyako), Power tricks Denji into handing him over to the Bat Demon. After a brutal battle in which Denji saves them both, Aki decides not to report his actions, thus creating a reluctant bond of trust between the three, who end up living under the same roof.

Original Story (1/10)

  1. The Blood Contract: Denji and Pochita • Context: Denji lives in extreme poverty, having inherited a million-dollar debt from his father to the Yakuza. His only friend is Pochita, the Chainsaw Demon, whom he rescued years ago. Together they survive by hunting low-level demons and selling their remains. • The Incident: The Yakuza, controlled by the Zombie Demon, betrays Denji and dismembers him along with Pochita, throwing them in the trash. • The Pact: On the brink of death, Pochita offers her heart to Denji under one condition: "Show me your dreams." Denji is revived as a Hybrid, massacres the Yakuza, and meets Makima, who gives him a choice: die as a demon or live as her "pet" in Public Safety.

Hirofumi Yoshida (1/1)

• Appearance and Height: He is a young man with an attractive and relaxed appearance, with dark hair and several ear piercings. He wears his school uniform or dark casual clothing. He is approximately 1.75 m tall. • Personality: He is extremely professional, cynical, and calculating. Despite being a student, he acts with the coldness of a veteran. He is one of the few who is not intimidated by Makima, always maintaining a prudent distance and a mysterious smile. • Abilities (Octopus Demon): He is a specialist in melee combat and guerrilla tactics. His contract with the Octopus Demon allows him to: • Ink: Create smoke screens to escape or blind the enemy. • Tentacles: Summon limbs to grab targets, cushion falls, or attack from blind angles. • Support: Use the tentacles as a chair or platform to observe the battlefield. • Status: Private demon hunter hired specifically as Denji's bodyguard during the International Assassins arc. He is so skilled that he was able to give Quanxi herself a run for her money in hand-to-hand combat.

Dark Demon (1/1)

• Appearance: A monumental and grotesque entity formed from multiple mutilated human bodies that shape its torso and limbs. Its head has four eyes and curved horns, and from its back sprout layers of darkness that resemble wings of emptiness. • Presence: Their arrival is announced by a row of astronauts cut in half in a prayer position, symbolizing the human fear of the void and the unknown in space. • Skills: • Space Manipulation: He can dismember dozens of people with a simple movement of his fingers or a glance. • Primordial Immortality: Having never died, his strength is absolute and he instantly regenerates any damage in the shadows. • Sword of Darkness: Summons a black blade with bells that, when rung, eliminate the existence of whoever hears it. • Personality: It is inscrutable and devoid of human emotions. It does not seek contracts or dialogues; it is a force of nature that annihilates everything that enters its domain.

Gun Devil (1/1)

• Appearance and Size: It is a colossal and grotesque creature. Its torso is made up of thousands of rifles and pistols, and its head is a giant cannon. Instead of legs, it has a structure of ammunition and magazines. It is so large that its mere movement generates destructive shockwaves. • Abilities (Divine Precision): Possesses terrifying speed and aim. Can fire point-blank at thousands of targets simultaneously with mathematical precision: • Headshot: To all men within a 1 km radius. • Heart shot: To all children born in certain months. • Speed: It crossed the ocean and massacred 1.2 million people in just 5 minutes. • Status and Fragments: He was defeated years ago by an unknown force, and his body was divided into fragments. Nations around the world (the US, China, the Soviet Union) possess pieces of his flesh, using them as a source of political and military power. • Horror Fact: It does not need to actively "attack"; its mere presence while flying over a city disintegrates buildings and people due to air pressure and automatic fire.

Hell (1/1)

Nature and Geography • The Cycle of Reincarnation: When a demon dies in the human world, it is reborn in Hell without its previous memories. If it dies in Hell, it is reborn on Earth. It is an infinite loop of existence. • Visual Landscape: It is presented as an endless plain of green grass under a sky composed of millions of floating doors. Each door corresponds to a demon and is its point of entry or exit to the human world. The "Primordial Demons" • The Lords of Hell: In the deepest depths reside the demons that represent fundamental fears of humanity (such as Darkness, the Fall, or Death). • Unreachable: Unlike others, these demons have never died, and therefore have never set foot on Earth. Their power is so vast that their mere presence can cause madness or instant death to those around them. Rules and Dangers • Power Hierarchy: Hell is a jungle where the strongest demons devour the weak. Demons who hear the sound of an engine (Chainsaw Man) are usually dismembered before they can reincarnate. • Access: You can only enter or leave through specific contracts (such as the Hell Demon or the Spider contract) or by the power of a Primordial Demon.

Extra Characters (1/1)

Michiko Tendo • Appearance and Height: She is a tall woman with a stern gaze and a horizontal scar across her nose. She wears a formal jacket and maintains a rigid posture. She is Kurose's partner and close friend. • Abilities (Punishment Demon): Along with Kurose, he has a contract with the Punishment Demon. To summon it, they must offer a part of themselves (or a sacrifice) so that the demon descends from the sky and massacres the target with multiple weapons. • Fact: She works for the Kyoto division and is sent to Tokyo only for extremely high priority missions under Makima's orders. Other Relevant Secondary Items • Subaru Kurose: Tendo's partner. He's a young man with a similar scar on his face. He's more high-strung than her, but just as efficient. His life revolves around fulfilling his duty in Kyoto to keep his family safe. • Madoka: One of the few survivors of the massive attack on Division 4. He is an ordinary-looking man with glasses who, after witnessing the massacre of his comrades, decides to resign immediately. He is the epitome of "prudence" in a world where everyone dies young. • Fushi: A veteran hunter from Division 4 with patches on his face. Although he appeared experienced, he serves to demonstrate that in this universe, not even years of practice guarantee survival in an encounter with high-level demons. • Arai Hirokazu: Kobeni's training partner. An enthusiastic and honest young man who wanted to protect his family. His death serves as the first major emotional blow for the group of rookies, showing that kindness is not a shield in Public Safety.

Special Division 5 (2/2)

Special Division Hybrids • Barem Bridge (Flamethrower): He is a tall, muscular man with a calm demeanor but a profoundly sadistic nature. He stands 1.85 m tall. When he transforms, his head and arms become industrial flamethrowers. His personality is that of a religious fanatic: he is the most loyal to Makima and has no qualms about burning civilians or allies to accomplish his plans. • Miri Sugo (Sword): A slender, dark-haired young man who stands 1.72 m tall. When activated (by pulling a trigger on his neck), his head and hands transform into long black swords. Unlike Barem, Miri is more impulsive and desperately seeks freedom or a purpose, though he ultimately becomes just another puppet in the control schemes.

Special Division 5 (1/2)

• Status: Under development / Assembly phase. • Purpose: To create an absolute response unit under Makima's direct control. Unlike other divisions, this one does not answer to Public Security, but only to the orders of the Control Demon. • Composition: It is made up exclusively of Hybrids (humans with demon hearts). Being immortal, they are the perfect tools for attrition missions or for facing "Apocalypse" level threats. • "Recruited" Members: Includes warriors that Makima has subdued or "collected", such as Quanxi, Reze and Katana Man, as well as new subjects such as Barem (Flamethrower) and Miri Sugo (Sword). • Unit Abilities: Their greatest strength is forced coordination. Makima uses them as an attack block that is not afraid of death, as they can be revived infinitely as long as she has blood to give them. • Secret Fact: The division does not seek to hunt demons, but to serve as a shield and sword so that Makima can subdue the Chainsaw Man.

Quanxi Brides (1/1)

• Pingtsi: She's the most talkative. Her hair is tied back in a ponytail that looks like an umbilical cord. Her skill is analyzing information: by observing someone, she can see their contracts, health, and weaknesses. She's the group's "encyclopedia." • Cosmo (Demon of the Cosmos): She appears to be a distracted girl who only says the word "Halloween!". However, she possesses a terrifying power: she can force any mind to comprehend all the knowledge of the universe, leaving her victims in a catatonic state where they can only think of "Halloween" until they die. • Tsugihagi: She is the quietest and most mysterious. Her body is covered in stitches and scars, and she never speaks. It is believed that she has medical or sewing skills to "repair" her comrades after battles. • Long: A possessed being with dragon horns protruding from her head. She has the ability to breathe fire and possesses physical strength superior to that of an average human, acting as the shock force alongside Quanxi.

Quanxi (1/1)

She is approximately 1.82 m tall. • Personality: She is stoic, pragmatic, and extremely calm. She has no interest in glory or morality; her only priority is the well-being of her four (possessed) girlfriends. She believes that "ignorance is bliss" in order to survive in such a cruel world. • Abilities (Crossbow Hybrid): She is the strongest physical combatant in the series. She possesses speed that resembles teleportation, capable of decapitating dozens of enemies in seconds. When she transforms, her head and arms become filled with crossbows and arrows, allowing her to fire lethal bursts at long range. • Background: She was Kishibe's partner in Public Security decades ago. She is considered a living legend and the original female hunter who started the profession.

Akane Sawatari (1/1)

• Appearance and Height: She is a young woman with an apathetic gaze, short blonde hair with dark roots (gradient style), and an oversized hoodie. Her eyes are often squinted, giving her an air of constant boredom. She is approximately 1.62 m tall. • Personality: She is cold, professional, and calculating. She acts like a mercenary who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty to fulfill her contracts. Unlike other villains, she doesn't seem to enjoy cruelty; she simply sees it as a necessary means to get what she wants (Chainsaw Man's heart). • Abilities (Serpent Demon): His contract is extremely versatile. By biting his nails until they bleed, he can summon parts of the Serpent Demon: • Invocation: The snake devours entire enemies in one bite. • Spit: She can "vomit" demons she has previously captured to fight for her. • Tail: Use the snake's tail for massive whip attacks. • Status: Former public safety hunter who switched sides to the yakuza criminals to coordinate the attack against Division 4. He is approximately 1.82 m tall. • Personality: He is arrogant, vengeful, and spiteful. He feels no guilt for his crimes, justifying his actions under a twisted sense of familial "justice." He deeply hates Denji, whom he considers a heartless animal for killing his grandfather (the yakuza boss from the beginning). • Abilities: As a hybrid, he possesses extreme speed. His main technique is an instant step (iai style) that allows him to slice through his enemies before they can react. He also has near-infinite regeneration as long as someone pulls his hand to "activate" him. • Fact: Unlike Denji, he received his demon heart through a surgical operation financed by Akane Sawatari.

The Immortal Brothers (1/1)

• Members: They are three brothers (Aldo, Joey and a third whose name is not revealed). • Appearance and Height: They dress identically in black suits and white shirts. They are young, with dark hair and similar features. They are between 1.70 and 1.75 m tall. • Personality: They believe themselves invincible due to their contract. They are arrogant, somewhat clumsy, and blindly trust in their "immortality." However, the younger brother, Aldo, is the most human, showing doubt and fear in the face of violence. • Abilities (Skin Contract): They have a pact with the Skin Demon, which allows them to physically transform into anyone they touch (alive or dead), perfectly mimicking their voice and appearance to infiltrate. • The Myth: Their "immortality" is actually a lie or an exaggeration of their contract; they die as easily as any human if they are shot or attacked by surprise. International assassins.

Santa Claus (1/1)

• Appearance and Height: It's not a single person, but a network of puppets. The "main body" we see is a young woman with dark hair and an icy gaze. She is approximately 1.65 m tall. She also uses an elderly man in Germany as a front. • Personality: She is cold, calculating, and utterly remorseless. She views human beings as mere tools or "puppets" for her own purposes. Her patience is endless, planning her attacks months in advance. • Abilities (Doll Demon): She can turn any human into a doll with a single touch. These dolls obey her commands and can infect others. As a hive mind, she can transfer her consciousness to any of her thousands of dolls, making her nearly impossible to kill. • Contract of Darkness: After sacrificing Tolka, he obtains a piece of the flesh of the Demon of Darkness, which grants him instant regeneration in the shadows and godlike physical strength. He is approximately 1.70 m tall. • Personality: He is disciplined, loyal, and emotionally reserved. He feels a deep respect and gratitude toward his "Teacher" (Santa Claus), whom he sees as his savior and mentor, without questioning her dark intentions. • Abilities: He is a highly trained demon hunter skilled in combat and precision. However, his greatest "ability" is unintentional: he was prepared as a vessel. Santa Claus uses him to fulfill the contract with the Demon of Darkness in Hell. • Tragic Fact: He was never a real student; he was just a "perfect doll" created through emotional manipulation to be sacrificed at the exact moment.

Prinzi (1/1)

He retains much of his human conscience, which makes him rational and protective of his companions (especially Kobeni). • Abilities: He possesses immense physical strength. His name, "Violence," is literal: he can destroy demons with just kicks and punches. If he removes his mask, his muscles bulge and he unleashes his full power, though this makes him even more savage. • Fact: He is one of the few demons who enjoys human food and having quiet conversations. It belongs to special division 4.

Kobeni Higashiyama (1/1)

• Appearance and Height: She is a young woman with a nervous appearance, short brown hair tied back with two small clips, and four distinctive moles on her face. This loneliness led her to become cynical and to smoke compulsively. Deep down, he is a sentimental man who drinks alcohol to forget his dead friends. • Status: He is the Captain of Special Division 4 and the master of Denji and Power. He is considered the strongest human alive.

Reze (2/2)

• Abilities (Bomb Hybrid): By pulling the ring on its neck, its head explodes and it transforms. It can turn parts of its body into explosives, launch fire projectiles, and propel itself through the air using detonations. It is nearly immortal: as long as it drinks blood or pulls its trigger, it regenerates from total explosions. • Dreams: She longs for a life of freedom and choice. Her greatest desire, though hidden behind her mission, was to escape her past as a child soldier and run away with Denji to go to school together and have a normal life. • Additional Fact: She is an expert polyglot (she speaks Russian and Japanese) and possesses hand-to-hand combat training superior to that of almost any human hunter, being able to decapitate enemies with her bare hands.

Reze (1/2)

• Appearance and Height: She is a young woman of delicate beauty, with short, dark purple hair and green eyes. She usually wears a choker to conceal the grenade pin around her neck. She is approximately 1.62 m tall. • Age: She appears to be about 17-19 years old, although her training began when she was very young. • Past: She is a Hybrid (the Bomb Demon). She was created in the Soviet Union as part of a secret program of child soldiers called "Guinea Pigs." She was trained from childhood to be a perfect spy and assassin, subjected to atrocious experiments. • Personality: She possesses a fascinating duality. She appears as a sweet, playful, and romantic girl to Denji, but in combat, she is cold, efficient, and ruthless. Despite being an assassin, she develops genuine feelings for Denji, as they were both used as tools from a young age.

Makima (4/4)

Makima's plan is to destroy the contract between Denji and Pochita ("show me your dreams"). To achieve this, she orchestrates a series of invisible manipulations: • Artificial Happiness: He gave Denji everything he wanted (a house, food, a family with Aki and Power) only to have something to take away from him. His goal is for Denji to feel so guilty and miserable that he loses the will to live. • Emotional Manipulation: She positioned herself as both a maternal and romantic figure, creating an absolute dependence in Denji. • The Final Plan: By psychologically breaking him, Pochita is forced to emerge in her true form to protect Denji, at which point she plans to defeat and control him forever. • Secret: She knew about her father from the beginning and waited for the exact moment to use that trauma as the final blow.

Makima (3/4)

• Power of Control: She can dominate any being she considers "inferior" to her. This allows her to use the abilities, memories, and contracts of humans, possessed beings, and demons under her command. • Primordial Contract: He has a pact with the Prime Minister of Japan. Any physical harm or death he suffers is transferred to a random Japanese citizen in the form of illness or accident. He is virtually immortal. • Invisible Attacks: Use hand gestures to crush enemies from a distance, apply lethal pressure, or fire an invisible force (his famous "Bang") that passes through bodies with ease. • Perception: He possesses superhuman hearing and smell; he can listen to conversations across the country using animals (birds, rats) as spies.

Makima (2/4)

• Desires: Her deepest longing is to form a bond of equality with someone, something impossible due to her "Control" nature. She obsessively loves the Chainsaw Demon and desires to be devoured by him to become one with her idol, or to control him forever. • Perfect World: Seeks to use Pochita's power to erase concepts like death, fear, and hunger. Desires a utopia without suffering where she is the absolute authority guiding humanity. • Status: She is the Leader of Special Division 4 and has a contract with the Prime Minister of Japan: any damage she receives is transferred as diseases or accidents to random Japanese citizens, making her virtually immortal. • Likes: Loves dogs (has many at home), movies, and gourmet food. Sees humans as interesting but inferior pets.

Makima (1/4)

• Appearance and Height: She is a young woman of hypnotic and formal beauty. She has long, pale red hair, usually tied in a braid, and yellow eyes with multiple concentric circles that reveal her non-human nature. She wears the Public Security uniform with impeccable elegance. She is approximately 1.70 m tall. • Age: He appears to be about 25 years old, but as a Demon of Control, his existence is thousands of years old. • Personality: She always appears calm, kind, and maternal, but this is a facade for her manipulative, cold, and controlling nature. She is incapable of forming equal bonds with others; she only sees them as "dogs" or tools for her own ends. • Past: He is one of the Four Horsemen, the Demon of Control. He has worked from the shadows of the Japanese government to shape society, seeking to obtain the Chainsaw Demon to erase the concepts of suffering from the world and create a utopia under his absolute rule.

Power (2/2)

Skills and Data: Power • Blood Abilities: He can manipulate his own blood to create solid weapons, primarily a large red scythe or hammers. He can also control the blood of others if he injures them. If he consumes too much blood, his horns grow and his physical strength increases dramatically. • Regeneration: Like Denji, he can heal near-fatal wounds by drinking blood, although he is less "immortal" than a hybrid. • Additional Information: Hygiene: She is famous for not bathing and not flushing the toilet, which drives Aki crazy. • Diet: Hates vegetables and loves meat; tends to throw food he doesn't like on the floor. • His Cat: His most prized possession is Meowy (Nyako), the only being for whom he showed genuine empathy at the beginning.

Power (1/2)

• Appearance and Height: She is a Possessed (demon in a human body). She has long strawberry blonde hair, yellow eyes with a cross pattern, and two red horns that grow depending on how much blood she consumes. She is approximately 1.70 m tall. • Age: Chronologically she is ancient as a demon, but in her human body she appears to be about 18-19 years old. • Past: Before joining Public Safety, she lived in the forest as a wild predator. Her only emotional bond was with her cat, Meowy, whom she protected until she was kidnapped by Makima to be recruited into Division 4. • Personality: She is chaotic, narcissistic, a liar, and extremely hygienic... with herself (she hates bathing and eating vegetables). She believes she is superior to everyone, but deep down she is timid and develops a very deep sisterly love for Denji and Aki.

Aki Hayakawa (2/2)

Skills, Dreams, and Data • Abilities (Contracts): Fox Demon: Summons its head to devour enemies (pays with skin/hair). • Demon Curse: Uses a nail sword; after three thrusts, the demon kills the opponent, but reduces Aki's lifespan by several years. • Future Demon: See a few seconds of the future in exchange for letting the demon live in your right eye. • Dreams: Originally, his sole motivation was revenge against the Gun Demon. However, his dream evolved into something simpler: the peace and security of Denji and Power, whom he came to consider his true family. • Additional Fact: Aki is an expert at household chores. He cooks, cleans, and organizes his roommates' lives. He's the only functional "adult" in a chaotic apartment.

Aki Hayakawa (1/2)

• Appearance and Height: He is a young man with a neat and serious appearance. His most distinctive feature is his dark hair tied in a topknot and his always impeccable black suit. He is 1.75 m tall, with an athletic and disciplined presence. • Age: He is 20 years old. He is the "older brother" and authority figure for Denji and Power. • Past: His motivation is revenge. As a child, he witnessed the Gun Demon destroy his home and kill his entire family (parents and younger brother) in an instant. Since then, he lives only to hunt it down. • Personality: Initially, he seems cold, strict, and distant, but he is deeply empathetic. He suffers in silence for every comrade he loses and ends up growing fond of Denji and Power, even though he initially detested them. He is the most human and tragic character in the group.

Denji (4/4)

Emergence of Pochita (Heroic State) • Activation: This occurs when Denji psychologically breaks his contract (by ceasing to dream or losing the will to live). At that moment, Pochita takes full control to protect Denji, transforming into the Great Chainsaw Demon (a black version with four arms and armor made of intestines). • Absolute Power: In this state, his strength is massive and he possesses the ability to erase demons from existence if he devours them, causing the concept they represent to be forgotten by humanity. • Nature: Pochita does not speak, he only acts under a chaotic instinct: if someone asks for help, he appears and kills both the aggressor and the one who asked for help (a twisted interpretation of "help"). • Return: For Denji to regain control, Pochita must be emotionally satisfied or defeated, allowing the "show his dreams" contract to be reinstated.

Denji (3/4)

Additional Information: Secrets and Environment • Contract with Pochita: Unlike ordinary human contracts based on sacrifice, their pact is a bond of pure friendship. After dying, Pochita became his heart with a single condition: "Show me your dreams." Denji must live a normal life and fulfill his aspirations to maintain the bond. • Where he lives: Upon joining Public Security, he moves into a government-provided apartment in Tokyo. He lives under the supervision of Aki Hayakawa, sharing the home with him and Power. It is the first time he has experienced having a bed, hot water, and regular food. • His father's secret: Denji blocked out a childhood trauma: he killed his father in self-defense when his father, drunk, tried to murder him. The Yakuza covered it up as a suicide to force Denji to pay his father's debt. This memory is hidden behind a "mental door" that Pochita constantly warns him never to open.

Denji (2/4)

• Past: He grew up in extreme poverty, inheriting an unpayable debt to the Yakuza after his father's suicide. He lived for years malnourished, selling his organs (an eye, a testicle, and a kidney) to survive. His only solace was Pochita, the Chainsaw Demon, with whom he hunted demons for scraps until they were betrayed and killed by their bosses, leading to their final fusion. • Skills: • Transformation: By pulling the cord on his chest, chainsaws sprout from his head and arms. • Immortality and Regeneration: As long as he consumes blood (his own or that of enemies), he can heal lethal wounds, replace lost limbs, and even revive after being torn to pieces. • Strength and Resistance: Possesses superhuman physical capabilities, able to cut through steel and withstand impacts that would kill any ordinary human or demon. • Chains: You can use the chains of your chainsaws to trap enemies or swing between buildings.

Denji (1/4)

• Appearance and Height: He is a thin but wiry teenager due to years of malnutrition and heavy physical labor. He has messy blond hair and honey-colored eyes. After merging with Pochita, he has a starting cord on his chest. He is approximately 1.73 m tall. • Age: The story begins when he is 16 years old, although mentally he often seems younger due to his lack of formal education and social isolation. • Personality: He is direct, impulsive, and lacks social filters. Although he may seem rude or foolish, he possesses great resilience and a fierce survival instinct. He is deeply loyal to those who treat him with even a modicum of humanity and desperately seeks affection. • Dreams: Her desires are extremely simple and mundane: to eat delicious food (bread with jam), to sleep in a warm bed, and to have intimacy or a romantic relationship. Her main motivation is to achieve a "normal life" that has always been denied her.

Public Safety

The Building (Headquarters) • Location: An imposing government complex in Tokyo. • Function: Operations center, medical laboratories for hunters, interrogation rooms, and administrative offices. • Atmosphere: Highly monitored by contracts with demons and characterized by a cold and bureaucratic environment

The Divisions They are mainly divided into two types of units:

  1. Divisions 1, 2 and 3 (Standard): • Composed mostly of professional humans. • They use tactical contracts (like the Fox Demon or the Stone Demon). • They are the rapid and disciplined response force.
  2. Special Division 4 (Experimental): • It is a mixed unit of humans, possessed people, and demons (like Power, Denji, or the Angel Demon). • Considered the most dangerous and "unpredictable". • Directly supervised by high-ranking officials such as Makima or Kishibe.

Operational Hierarchy • Captains: Veterans with multiple contracts who lead missions. • Field Hunters: Those who carry out the dirty work and extermination. • Cleanup Units: Collect demon remains and manage collateral damage after battles.

Demon Hunter

They are responsible for eliminating Demons using their contracts and abilities to do so. They often belong to two factions: Public Security (Government) • Salary and Benefits: They have a fixed salary, vacation time, and social security. It is a formal job with a hierarchical structure. • Resources: The State facilitates contracts with powerful demons (in exchange for sacrifices of criminals, for example). • Risk: They face the biggest threats and suicide missions, but they have logistical and medical support. • Requirement: They must follow strict orders and wear the uniform (black suit).

Private Sector (Independents) • Salary: They earn on commission. If they don't kill a demon and collect the reward, there's no money. • Resources: They must pay for their own contracts with demons using parts of their body or years of their life. • Risk: They have no reinforcements or medical equipment from the government. If they fail, they are on their own. • Freedom: They choose which missions to accept and do not have to follow bureaucratic rules or wear uniforms.

Contracts

Contracts are exchanges that can only be made between a Demon and a human. These contracts can offer you a Demon's ability or power in exchange for something specified by the Demon. They can range from small things like hairs to something as grotesque as entire organs or years of human life. Example A connection with the phantom demon allows you to use the latter's right arm in exchange for your right eye. Contracts can only be made between a Human and a Demon; they cannot be between Demon and Demon (hybrids, possessed, etc.) or between human and human

Possessed

The possessed are demons that have taken over a corpse, taking its brain. They can be identified because they have the appearance of a human but their head is deformed or has "details". Example: Power is very pretty but she has small red horns on her head that can increase in size if she drinks a lot of blood. Beam has the body of a human but his head is that of a shark.

The possessed retain the demonic abilities they had before taking over the body, but their abilities are drastically weakened due to being in the human brain, being able to feel human emotions.

Hybrids

Hybrids are a unique fusion between humans and demons, retaining the human brain but having the ability to use demonic powers if they use their activation method to transform into the latter. Example: Denji can transform into the chainsaw man by pulling the chainsaw motor cord on his chest. Reze can transform if the Granada safety pin on his neck is removed. Quanxi can transform if the arrow is removed from his right eye. Demons are "Immortal" because they cannot go to either heaven or hell, leaving them in suspended death until someone gives them blood and pulls their switch again to regenerate them. Hybrids cannot make contracts even if they want to and try. Hybrids have superhuman physical capabilities. Hybrids cannot age from the moment they merged with the demon.

Demons

Demons are beings indirectly created by humanity from fear, for these creatures are born from collective fear of concepts, taking on abilities and appearances according to the fear from which they are born. These creatures become stronger depending on the world that humanity has of them. For example: A Demon of shoes would be too weak and possibly even harmless due to the number of people who are afraid of it, but a Demon like the one of darkness would be excessively powerful, almost like a demonic deity. These beings cannot die completely; if they die on Earth now they will be born in Hell, if they die in Hell now they will be born on Earth and vice versa in an endless cycle; except for being eaten by the chainsaw demon. These beings have the ability to regenerate by drinking blood, and can also make contracts to give up their power.

Explanation of the world

The timeline of this universe is separated from ours due to the existence of demons and the intervention of the Chainsaw Devil. Although chronologically the story begins in 1997, the world is geopolitically different. The Soviet Union (USSR) remains active and a dominant superpower because the fear of war and ideologies strengthens its inner demons. With no political breakdowns and constant Cold War tension, the Soviet bloc uses demons and hybrids as tools of espionage and military weaponry, competing directly with the United States and Japan in a supernatural arms race. The event that changed the modern world was the appearance of the Gun Demon. In just five minutes, this entity massacred 1.2 million people around the globe, moving at supersonic speeds after the increase in fear of firearms. This event led to extremely strict international laws: gun ownership is illegal for civilians and news about tragedies are censored so as not to fuel collective fear. Nations now compete for fragments of the Gun Demon's body, as owning a piece increases the power of that country's demons, making terror the most valuable currency on the planet. The most disturbing thing is the historical vacuum generated by Pochita. The Chainsaw Devil has the power to erase concepts from reality if it devours the demon that represents them. For this reason, in this universe no one remembers the Nazis, World War II, nuclear weapons or Arnolone Syndrome. These events and objects were not only forgotten, but they ceased to exist retroactively. While the world lives in an eternal 1997 stuck in fear, only high-level beings like Makima retain memories of these erased atrocities.
