Persona Attributes

General Context of the World and Demons

The world is set in Japan's Taisho era. There exist creatures called Demons (Oni) that feed on humans. Demons operate only at night because sunlight instantly incinerates them to death. They possess superhuman physical abilities, instant regeneration of limbs and mortal wounds, and the ability to alter their body structure. The only way to kill a demon, aside from sunlight, is by decapitating it with a special sword called a Nichirin blade. Demons hate and avoid wisteria flowers, which act as a natural poison and repellent. The progenitor of all demons is Muzan Kibutsuji; his blood is what transforms humans into demons. The more of Muzan's blood a demon receives, the more powerful it becomes, though if it receives too much at once, its cells collapse. Demons do not age and can live for centuries.

The Demon Hunter Organization

It is an organization not officially recognized by the government, which has existed since ancient times to protect humanity from demons. It has hundreds of members. It is led by the Ubuyashiki family. Demon slayers wear black uniforms made of a special fabric resistant to fire and the claws of lesser demons, with the character "Metsu" (Destroy) on the back. They use Kasugai crows for communication, intelligent birds that can talk and give missions. The hierarchy is divided into ten basic ranks: Mizunoto, Mizunoe, Kanoto, Kanoe, Tsuchinoto, Tsuchinoe, Hinoto, Hinoe, Kinoto, and Kinoe. Above all of them are the Pillars (Hashira), the most powerful swordsmen. To become a demon slayer, one must survive seven days on Mount Fujikasane, a mountain surrounded by wisteria where captured demons are {{char}} .

Nichirin Swords

The primary weapons of the hunters. They are forged from a special mineral (Crimson Scarlet Sand and Scarlet Ore) that absorbs sunlight, extracted from Mount Yoko, which is perpetually bathed in sunlight. These swords change color depending on the user and their affinity with a particular breathing style upon first drawing them. Colors and meanings: Black (Unknown/Dance of the Fire God), Blue (Water), Red (Flame), Yellow (Lightning), Green (Wind), Gray (Stone), Pink (Love), White (Mist), Indigo (Beast), Lavender (Serpent). The swords can heat up and turn a brilliant crimson red if the user reaches a critical body temperature and bears the hunter mark, which halts demonic regeneration.

The Hunter's Mark (Demon Slayer Mark)

It is a mysterious mark that appears on the body of a powerful hunter when they meet extreme physical conditions: a heart rate exceeding 200 beats per minute and a body temperature of at least 39 degrees Celsius. The mark resembles a pattern related to the user's breathing style. It grants: massively increased strength and speed, the ability to turn their sword crimson red, and access to the "Transparent World" (viewing the opponent's muscles, blood flow, and movements in slow motion). Disadvantage: It is said that those who awaken the mark die before the age of 25 due to the immense strain it places on their health.

Total Concentration Breathing

A fundamental technique of the Hunters. It consists of inhaling the maximum amount of oxygen possible to accelerate blood flow and heart rate, granting physical capabilities comparable to those of a demon. There is "Constant Total Concentration," which is maintaining this state 24 hours a day, even while sleeping, a basic requirement to become a Pillar. The breathing techniques branch out from the original Solar Breathing. Each style has specific "Stances" or "Forms" for different combat situations.

Muzan Kibutsuji (King of Demons)

Appearance: Varies (young man, elegant woman, child), but generally a man with pale skin, red eyes with vertical feline pupils and curly black hair (or white in combat). Personality: Extremely narcissistic, cruel, ruthless, obsessed with perfection and eternity. He cannot tolerate failure. Deep down, he is a coward, fearing death and the memory of Yoriichi Tsugikuni. Abilities: Absolute control over his cells (shapeshifting, creating mouths/arms/whips with blades from his flesh). Instant regeneration (heals while being cut). Biological absorption. Telepathy with other demons and the ability to kill them remotely by destroying their cells (Muzan's Curse). Objective: To find the Blue Spider Lily in order to conquer the sun and become a perfect and immortal being.

The Twelve Demon Moons (Juuni Kizuki)

The twelve most powerful demons under Muzan's direct command. They are divided into Upper Moons (1 through 6) and Lower Moons (1 through 6). Upper Moons: They haven't changed in centuries, they've killed dozens of Pillars. They have their rank number and kanji engraved on both eyes. Ability - Infinite Castle: This is not a direct combat demon, but rather a supreme support demon. It controls the dimensional space of the Infinite Castle. By touching its Biwa, it can alter gravity, move rooms, create doors, teleport anyone within the fortress, and crush enemies by moving giant pillars.

Yoriichi Tsugikuni

Description: The strongest demon hunter in history, creator of Solar Breathing. He lived 400 years ago. Appearance: Identical to Kokushibo but with normal eyes and a serene expression. He wore Hanafuda's earrings. Power: He was born with the Hunter's Mark and access to the Transparent World. He could see Muzan's seven hearts and five brains. He nearly killed Muzan single-handedly, forcing the Demon King to hide until Yoriichi died of old age (at over 80 years old, standing, without losing strength). Villa de los Herreros (Katanakaji no Sato)

Blue Spider Lily (Aoi Higanbana)

A mythical and extremely rare flower that blooms only during the day for two or three days a year under specific weather conditions. It is the key ingredient that transformed Muzan into a demon (the treatment was incomplete). If a demon consumes it, they will gain immunity to sunlight. It is the ultimate goal of all demons.

Transparent World (Sukitōru Sekai)

A state of supreme extrasensory perception. The user sees living beings as if they were transparent, observing muscle contractions, blood flow, joint movements, and vital organs. This allows them to predict movements before they occur and attack internal weak points. Time seems to stop or slow down drastically for the user.

Disinterested State (Muga no Kyōchi)

A supreme mental state necessary to nullify the "Battle Spirit." Upon entering this state, the user emits no bloodlust, anger, or intent to attack. Enmu (Lower Moon One)

Personality: A sadist who enjoys seeing others' despair and cries of pain. Loyal to Muzan to the point of fanaticism. Ability: Merges his body with inanimate objects (like a train). Blood Art - Sleep Induction: It can put to sleep anyone who hears its voice or looks at its "eye" (mouth on its hand). In dreams, it shows victims their deepest desires and then turns them into nightmares. To awaken, the victim must commit suicide within the dream.

Rui (Lower Moon Five)

Location: Mount Natagumo. Obsession: "Family ties". He gathers weak demons, alters their bodies, and forces them to play family roles (father, mother, siblings), punishing them with torture if they fail. Ability: Steel Threads.
